The decor at Joey's is calm and relaxing. Every item my son and I ordered was absolutely delicious. We were not rushed and felt comfortable to visit over a lunch for more than 2 hours, arriving for a late lunch about 1:45 on a Saturday afernoon

We had lunch on the patio yesterday and as always, the food and the service were excellent. You can tell the staff and the management are very concerned about the Covid-19 restrictions and are doing all the right things to ensure everyone's safety. Our food was excellent as always (chicken lettuce wraps) and our server Kerian R. was attentive, pleasant and our order was received exactly as ordered. Would highly recommend Joeys at Polo Park!

Tried to go to another restaurant in Polo Park area Winnipeg and not very accommodating for patio dining. My sister visiting from out of province and I just wanted to relax and enjoy a nice meal together before she headed back home.So ended up at Joey Polo Park. Food and service were excellent and promptly seated to lovely outdoor patio. Our Server Madelaine made great recommendations for drinks and lunch appetizer and entrees and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We enjoyed hummus as appetizer, and shared two entrees roasted peanut curry bowl and prawn and lobster ravioli…wow so delicious! We had alcoholic and nonalcoholic cocktails that were fabulous. Definitely going back there again soon!😍

Party of Three ... on the patio with a reservation ... were seated at a table with no Sun umbrella and blaring music. We asked to move to the last open table with an umbrella and were told that the umbrella was broken. So, we remained at our table after inserting 6 coasters under to legs of the table and 3 under one, leaving one corner relatively stable. The lunch began with also asking the Server if the music could be turned down, since screaming over music was not our idea of a relaxing lunch. The music was turned down. I ordered coffee and that was correct. My lunch mates ordered a Coke with no ice and got a Coke with ice. After straightening out the drink order, we moved on to the menu, nicely copied on paper. The lunch order included a rice bowl that was filled to half with basically rice, carrots and a smattering of chicken and other ingredients. The price was close to twenty dollars for the rice bowl. The next was an Asian chicken dish. Again, not a lot of ingredients for incredibly high prices. My lunch was supposed to be a Caesar salad with a side of garlic toast and I asked for a chicken breast. It would have cost $9.75 for the salad, $3.00 for a hunk of garlic toast and $5.00 for the chicken breast. I received what I ordered, except the chicken breast had skin on it and was basically RAW. I pointed this out and asked the Server to just take the chicken back and microwave it. She took it back and insisted I receive a freshly cooked chicken breast. By the time I was half way through the salad and toast, another sliced skin on chicken breast was brought to me. I lifted the skin on one piece and it was once again pink. I refused it and told Emily to just forget about the chicken. A few minutes later she told me that I would not be charged for my salad. That was fine with me. Emily was a very good Server. The food was OKAY. The price is terribly overpriced. The portions are small. I will not be back.

We ( wife and I ) had dinner at Polo Park Winnipeg October 12 2021.
The entire experience we nothing less than Fabulous!
All the staff were super courteous and professional.
The food was delicious and the plating was very artistic ( we took pictures of each dish)
We had fish - tuna poke cone / yellow fin tuna salad / tuna poke bowl - all super delicious
Special hats off to server SHELBY. She is a very helpful / courteous and professional asset to Joey restaurants.

Had our fAvorite steak and sushi. Always delicious. Helpful friendly servers. Our fAvorite spot other than the arena to catch a jets game. The steak is always done to perfection and the sushi was tasty as can vec I’m sure their other good is good too but we always order tbis. It’s our fAvorite meal hands down.

Nice menu options to select from. A bit pricey for what they offer. Would have preferred the patio, but with covid rules it was full. Restaurant is quite dark so on a summer day it is a bit dull. Service was good.

You kind of know it’s going to be an expensive lunch when you enter the restaurant and it is suitably expensive when you get the bill. That should not distract you from going because the food is sublime….. The service is exceptional but not 18% to 22% tip as requested, that’s just ridiculous.
I had the chicken Katsura salad on this occasion and my colleague had the tuna poke bowl, like I said above the food was sublime, we both thoroughly enjoyed it but at $80 with soft drinks only, the overall feeling was expensive for what we got.
I will return when I come back to Winnipeg next year so watch out!

This meal was fantastic. It was delivered and came hot. The salmon was moist, flaky and tender. Included fried asparagus , garlic mashed potatoes, egg roll (potatoe).
Also had the chocolate lava cake with raspberries and sauce. The ice cream was also sent, but was melted. (should have been in a separate bag) . Nice change to have a delicious salmon filet.

My husband and I recently dined at Joey Polo Park. We are regulars at Joey, my husband was very disappointed that the steak he ordered was not at the usual Joey quality. My husband did let the waitress know and she said she would advise the manager of his disappointment. It did surprise us that the Manager did not come to our table to discuss the matter. My meal Oven Roasted cod was very good, the appetizer Chili chicken was great as usual. We hesitated over a dessert still kind of expecting a visit from the manager. When the bill came it was not adjusted, not even a free beer, for the disappointing steak. Not sure if we will return.

Lunch in the atrium on a sunny warm fall day old not have been better. Service by Brooke was excellent. Everyone really enjoyed her lunch! I really like the Szechuan chicken lettuce wraps. Nice crisp leaves of head lettuce, some spicy aioli and crispy flavourful chunks of chicken, peppers, wonton strips and peanuts. The sliders were excellent……..3 mini angus burgers with nice condiments. The Beach salad was also a hit with crisp greens, quinoa, sunflower seeds, chicken, goat cheese, strawberries.

It's time that the menu be upgraded with proper description.
1. dined on the 29th May 2024 and order a grilled chicken club/ what it is ( grilled chicken burger with cheese and bacon) both our draft beer were stale to which I mentioned it to the server and at the end he made a comment that he noticed it being pretty flat when originally served.
2.2nd June 2024, ordered a Peanut Prawn curry meal. Not prawns but small size shrimps, tasty but not a prawn.. the server did informed me that prawns are shrimps??? wrong both are distinct.

Joey is always a fun and vibrant place where you know what you are getting and that we regularly go to however there has been a major change. It is understandable that inflation has hit all sectors of society and businesses must adjust accordingly. We had appetizers and noticed that shrinkflation had struck in a huge way. The Gyoza appetizer has less gyoza but worse was the fact that size of the Gyoza has shrunk minimum 50% or more to an embarrassingly minute portion. After discussing it with my partner she said it was the same with the chili chicken. Again adjusting accordingly is acceptable but the reduction in the size of appetizers far outweigh the cost of the inflation on the ingredients and is motivated by profit and greed. We will still go there as we like it but it is sad in such tough times the corporate leadership have chosen to gouge its patrons. Service was excellent and atmosphere great and food tasty.

Joey’s chain of restaurants has a really cool concept. Besides the stylish decor and friendly staff, they offer a menu that appeals to any taste—delicious without being mainstream.
My wife had the spaghetti pomodoro with croutons and a sprinkle of parmesan, and she was very satisfied.
My wild cod (though isn’t cod always wild?) came with lightly crispy rice, incredibly fresh sugar snap peas, and a coconut sauce that you’d want to have intravenously—delicious.
The fact that our table was way too cold and that our frozen lemonade tasted like pre-mixed Rose’s Lime takes it down a notch. But not enough to stop me from highly recommending Joey’s if your palate is getting bored of pizza, burgers, tacos, and other bland junk food.

went out for dinner and the food did not disappoint the baked mashed potatoes are delicious ! broke down and shared but only because i wanted my husband and son to experience the deliciousness .. our meals were tasty! the lettuce wraps have a nice kick the spice is just right … as full as we were we ended had dessert … baked fresh and served warm sooooo good…. creme brule and cheesecake together .. wow! well worth our decision to have a family night meal
