We ate here a few days ago in a large group. We made reservations ahead of time and made sure we had them note how many racks of ribs we wanted as they often sell out. Food was a hit! great decor. Wasn't a fan...More

My husband and I went to Dixie's for his birthday and we were not disappointed. We wanted to find a good bbq place other than Memphis Blues because we'd already been there several times. We were both really excited and even though it's recommended to...More

Yes, it is BBQ. Since they don't serve Brisket at lunch, since they don't start the pits early enough, I was not able to try their Brisket, but they say it was inspired by Franklin's. I did try the sausage, chicken, ribs and the Pork...More

Good selection of various meats and bread. Very tasty and surprisingly good to the palate. Interesting decor although in a seedy part of town. Definitely would come back for BBQ-no beef ribs though. Reservations helpful. Very affordable.

I love good BBQ. In fact, I make my own BBQ'd meats on my smoker and it's really tasty. But it takes time and effort and Dixie's will do the work for you. I've been three times within the last year, so I guess it's...More

First and foremost the food was really good at Dixie's. We had mixed platters and enjoyed everything we ate (and drank!). However, we wish we had researched the neighbourhood before walking to the restaurant. Googling East Hastings St makes interesting reading. It wouldn't put me...More

Went for Sunday lunch with my daughter having walked by this place for years. (It never seems very crowded which is usually a signal!). I ordered fried chicken which was two small pieces of boneless thigh. It was tasty but crazily over salted. I'd say...More
