This review is long long overdue. We are healthy eaters, my husband is more of a purist when it comes to health which means that he would eat anything healthy even if it tastes like dirt. Me on the other hand need to have some element of taste and delish-ability. This place satisfies us both. Some of my favorites are the pizza and the baked scrambled eggs. The servings are pretty generous and the prices are pretty fair for what you get. Make sure you try their desserts. They have a great selection that are both healthy and delicious. The service in this place is pretty good, special shout out to Sona, the lovely lady in cashier who offered us the carrot cake to try which was a great marketing move because we are now hooked. We go to Vancouver twice a year and this place is our go to place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommended especially to healthy eaters who like delicious food

I had another visit here last Saturday and that was memorable.
I ordered Platter Feast with Prime Rib ($10.39) it BLEW ME away. I had Basmati rice with veggie toppings along with the rib.
Meat were chopped as bite size pieces, but the meats were little big. Meat pieces were fully cooked with slight pink and they were so tender. However, I didn't find one piece too tender at all.
The whole bowl was very satisfying. Loved the spices and aroma in my rice. It had slight Indian spice in my rice and the food created this fusion with black beans to feel like mix of Indian and Mexican food. Not to forget the rice was cooked perfectly and it was very fluffy. YUM! My tummy felt full and satisfied after finishing this dish.
Food was excellent for the price. Every visits (I personally had) at Caveman just have been superb. Caveman sure knows how to make a great healthy meal without charging so much. It's so unbelievable having tasty food in low price with huge portion. Paleo, vegetarian and vegan food are also available.

I recently stopped here for a lunch after few years. The size of this restaurant has gotten smaller than before. Kitchen has gotten smaller too, but food hasn’t changed much.
I got Butter Chicken feast for $14.99 it came in a big bowl with salads. Food didn’t take long to arrive. It was freshly made with soft rice with big tender pieces of chicken. Sauce was so tasty and dreamy!
Food was too big for me so I packed half portion home for work lunch. Staff were so helpful she offered me a bag and a takeout box. It was still delish even after few days have passed. I gotta go back next time when I’m within this vicinity.

I eat keto so this looked like a good bet. However the menu was a bit disappointing but I can't completely remember why... portions too big or not actually very low carb, or something, but good on them, they are probably refining all the time and it's definitely a healthier place to eat. I don't think you could get bone broth to drink there - any chance of adding that guys?

I don’t find the food to be great. I’ve ordered twice and was disappointed both times with the keto food. Keto pizza crust was gross. I paid for extra cheese but there wasn’t enough. The two keto desserts were ok. The keto cheesecake tastes old and the keto brownie was lacking flavor.

Went to their new location on Davie Street. What friendly staff. They spoke very highly of their food and even provided tips for cooking Keto. Had a pizza that was utterly amazing thanks to their recommendation. The carrot cake was melt in your mouth good. I wish you all the success in the world and look forward to the next time...

Thank you so much for this fabulous delicious cheesecake birthday cake! It was not too sweet nor heavy. It tastes healthy! Luckily, the bakery was very spontaneous as I ordered on the same day. Very friendly staff. Thank you for such prompt service! The cake is contagious.. cant wait to try the food!

Delicious food, many options from vegan to carnivore, plenty of choices for kids— all at very Reasonable prices. Food comes out quickly and the staff are very accommodating.

We tried two different pies that were listed on their order board and were happy with each of them. We found the price for each pizza very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

...unfortunately this is one of many restaurants in Vancouver BC Canada where the owners keep all the tips instead of distributing those tips that customers intend to go to workers, NOT to the owners who already receive all the profits of all sales. TIPS ARE FOR WORKERS, NOT FOR OWNERS TO STEAL! DELICIOUS AND NUTRITIOUS FOOD SOLD HERE BUT 100% OF TIPS NEED TO BE GIVEN TO WORKERS BEFORE I RETURN TO CAVEMAN CAFE.

Healthy yummy food!! I ordered Salmon on Cauliflower rice. It was supper good and is hundred percent Gluten free. I have no Gluten allergy but I always avoid non-organic wheat flour.

Located in Tinseltown, next to MacDonalds this place offers a wide variety of health fare. They have so many options geared towards healthy eating and for those with dietary restrictions. Keto, Paleo, diabetic, options available. We were a bit weary at first as our past experience at other places offering this menu but Caveman did not disappoint. We were both so surprised at how tasty and clean the food was. We will definitely return if we are in the area.

I was so happy when I read the menu of this place.
The cater for so many healthy options, the pizza base is out of this world. Loads of vegan and gluten free options for a meal and for dessert.
Very good prices, specially in comparison with what other healthy restaurants around the world charge.
I wished I lived in Vancouver to go there every week!

My wife had the lasgna with meat sauce and she thought it was good but too many vegetables to her taste. I had the zucchini zoodles with meat sauce, veggies and fake cheese. It was good but runny. Service at the counter was ok. The place is a bit in need of a tidying up.
