Gerwina is the owner and very sweet and friendly. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Mariel is great too. I highly recommend Tropika to anyone that is fortunate enough to come and eat and enjoy the food and great staff Gerwina has working for her. I’d give it 20 stars if I could.

Something about the overall setting of the cafe was just beautifully atmospheric. We dined there on a dark, cold and dreary day despite an orange rainfall warning but it was still lovely and relaxing. The whole resto-bar was dressed in native and tropical colors and textiles - down to their very eccentric silverware.
The waitstaff was pleasant and accommodating. Nothing took too long to arrive. The food was delicious and well-worth its price. It wasn't seasoned as strongly as we would've liked but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed. They gave salt and pepper shakers, all we had to do was ask.
We had pizza, pasta and chicken wings alongside a large and loud table of yuppies. It had such a good vibe that we were completely taken away from the fact of it being a dreary Sunday afternoon. I'd be happy to come back any day.

What can I say about this absolute gem of restaurant/bar ! Amazing food and cocktails, I was staying at the dive resort opposite the venue and ended up eating here pretty much every night ! Their signature pork chop is the best I’ve ever had ! The service was exceptionally good, cocktails were also equally as good! As a traveler coming from the UK I found this place to be the best place to eat during my stay in the Philippines. Full credit must be given to the staff and management for making my holiday a pleasure
