The cochinita pibil and lechon tacos were fantastic! So happy when something meets or even exceeds the hype. Come early for lunch because the line gets long though moves reasonably well.

We loved this spot. The word has certainly gotten out, so we had to wait in line which was very hot. But we grabbed some beers to drink in line and had a lovely late lunch. They do run out of some of the options...but there was plenty of good food for us. We ordered the pork and two beef options. The guacamole is a must - so fresh and delicious. And all the toppings to add to your tacos are great. They do not sell alcohol there, but we brought in some beers from a bar next door.More

We knew when we arrived and the locals were lined up this place had to be good! If you’re looking for truly authentic local food, don’t leave Tulum before stopping here. The Lechon and Poc-Chuc tacos are absolutely outstanding! It is cash only so come...prepared, but it’s cheap and totally worth it!More

This is one taqueria we've actually returned to during our 10 day stay in Tulum in June 2022. Everything we've tried was tasty, the service was good as well with COVID precautions in place.

The tacos were outstanding! We went back on several occasions to try the relleno negro, cochinita pibil and lechon tacos. Will definitely return to eat here on our next visit to Tulum.

One of the most genuine and best taquerias I've ever visited. Honorio's cochinita is truly its pride - tender, juicy, soft and this is said by the person who usually doesn't eat pork. The price is more than affordable, and they do offer vegetarian options....The amount of people in the place speaks for itself.:)More

My wife and I went on a tour of 3 Centoes. Our tour guide Carlos Carlos recommend that we go here for tacos. Thank you Carlos for the recommendation the tacos were amazing!!!! Definitely the best tacos we ever ate. Very inexpensive tacos, great selections...as well. Make sure to bring cash they do not take cards. They do not sale beers or alcohol beverages but you will not be disappointed with their tacos.More

As the title says this place serves cheap and authentic Mexican food. It’s by far the best (and cheapest) place we’ve eaten during our 1 month trip of the Yucatan peninsula. A tip is to come early - we went for breakfast - to avoid...the tourist crowds (and the waiting list for tables) as well as the street vendors trying to sell stuff.More

These tacos will put all other tacos to shame. Taqueria Honorio was highly recommended by several locals so you know it’s legit. This is a must visit when you come to Tulum. It is open air seating and while the tables seem like they are...always full they were able to seat and serve our group of 7 quickly. When we were first seated they place 3 different salsas, limes and a pico de gallo on our table to dress our tacos. They have 6 different tacos to choose from and many of us went full send and ordered all 6. It’s doable if you have a big appetite. If we had to pick, the favorites were the Suckling Pig Taco, Turkey taco and Cochinita Pibil (a regional preparation of pork). Get the order of chips and guacamole too!More
