One of the most amazing meals we had while visiting Tulum! The ceviche and shrimp tacos were to die for. Staff was awesome and the view was to die for! Highly recommend!

Great place on the Tulum beach area. They had a dj playing in the afternoon. Cocktails are standard prices, really cool place.
Got scammed by the waiter Emmanuel. When it came time to pay he claimed their machine was broken and he added everything up on a calculator. We paid in cash and even gave him a 25% tip. Next day decided to look at the menu...again and realized he overcharged us by 800 pesos. Don’t make the same mistake we made!!!More
Got scammed by waiter “Emmanuel”. We were having a great time having drinks and snacks…thought we hit it off with the waiter since he brought us free guacamole and a free cocktail. When it came time to pay, he claimed the check machine wasn’t working...and they couldn’t take card. He quickly added up our total on a calculator and I stupidly took his word for it. We even gave him 25% tip. The next day something told me to go look at the menu again and when I added everything up, I realized we overpaid by almost 800 pesos (around $40 USD). I feel dumb as hell getting scammed so please stay away from this place or at least demand for them to give you a written receipt before you pay!!More
Went for a visit at the beachclub. Starting off with a explanation about a minimum spend of 50$ per person. They provide a menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. We plan our meals for the day so we make the minimum spend. After 5pm a...waiter comes to our beds and tells us we have to start spending more because they close at 6. Dinner is not available here despite of the menu we had presented to us. I would have loved to know that earlier. Worse than the lack of information is the lies this waiter told us. We ordered a club sandwich without the bacon. They bring us a sandwich with the bacon on it. We ask to bring us a new one because we dont eat pork. We noticed a corner of the sandwich missing. Later they bring us the "new" sandwich. Even after repeatedly asking if this is really a new one they keep to saying it is. It is in fact the same one with the exact same corner missing. A blatant LIE. We choose not to start a fight. We wanted to enjoy the day with beautiful weather. The second lie this waiter told was when we were presented with the bill. After our experiences we were definitively not leaving a tip for his poor poor service. He presented us the bill while covering the original amount with his thumb and only showing the amount with a "servicio sugerido" included. I asked him to explain the difference between the two numbers and he said it was a mandatory tax that had to be paid. After showing in google translate we caught on to his second blatant LIE he let us pay the original amount and complimented us for having such a nice life. We dont mind paying good money for excellent service and food. And at Ahau you're paying the maximum. But with service like this you feel scammed after coming here. The entourage is phenomenal but the incompetent, lying staff is able to completely destroy your experience hereMore
My husband and I made a quick trip to Tulum to celebrate our anniversary; we’re staying at Ahau. We’ll write a separate review for the hotel (which is great) but I wanted to write a special thanks to Ahau’s server, Johnny, and the chef, Angel....We reserved Ahau’s romantic beach dinner which is a 4 course meal on the beach and it was an experience that vastly surpassed our expectations. The service from Johnny and the cuisine by Angel culminated into one of the most delicious, beautiful, and memorable meals we’ve had. Thanks for making our special night so wonderful.More
After working out at the Tulum Jungle Gym my daughter and I started making our way back to our hotel, which is about a 15 minute walk from Ahau.... we had to cross Ahau to get back on the road. After an hour work out...in the intense heat my daughter and I were done for the day. We decided to sit down because our legs were giving out on us and this is where Andrea approached us. Thank God for Angels, she was so pleasant and accommodating I honestly thought she was going to kick us out as we didn't realize we were in between the hotel and the restaurant thinking this area was for hotel guest only. Thank God I was wrong. She told us to rest and if we needed a table she could arrange that. We immediately agreed- I thought I was seeing a mirage... She immediately showed us in and pointed to the rest rooms and explained the menu. Wow Ahau you are doing a tremendous job hiring and training! Andrea is a model employee! This is coming from a NYC Senior Manager!! The wait staff A+, Service A+, the food was delicious we had eggs that were cooked to perfection and I had a freshly maracuya juice. We ate, rested and re-charged.. We needed that pit stop...worth every penny. Thank you Andrea- keep you beautiful energy going your light is bright!! Thank you Aahu we will def come back!!!More
Beautiful beach club with pool and amazing staff. Rafael and Hector made us feel welcomed. They set us up with a nice day bed and even let us borrow towels for free. Food was standard American/Mexican. Our children loved the pool. Would definitely recommend. Shoutout...to Ricardo! The general manager of the Kana! As we walked into their day club but they are adults only. Ricardo guided us to Ahau and I was fantastic. He was even nice enough to walk us over.More
Andrea, Emmanuel, and Magdaleno were so friendly and helpful to my friends and I. I would definitely recommend this restaurant when in Tulum!
This was the 7th time that I have visited Tulum in the last 15 years. On this occasion I was travelling with my daughter and my grandson, we had seen lots of information and advice about the sculpture garden at Ahau in Tulum, we had...already visited the Mystika exhibition near the Tulum ruins and we were really looking forward to what we expected to be yet another awesome experience. When we arrived there was a small but slow moving queue waiting to take photographs of the primary entrance piece, which I have to say was quite impressive, we patiently waited until our opportunity arrived to enter the " Jardin Del Arte" when we eventually entered the so called sculpture garden, we could not believe the sights that were actually before us. There were 2 Jackson Pollock inspired splatter paintings, a little passe when you have seen the real thing, there was a pair of angel wings made from driftwood, again this has been done with much more artistic expression than the example here and an installation consisting of nylon net curtain draped over a series of parallel bars, with about as much artistic expression as a dog turd covered with glitter. Disappointed with the experience we decide to try the Ahau restaurant beach grill. We ordered a chicken salad for myself, a bowl of pasta for my grandson and my daughter ordered a corn on the cob, my grandson's meal and my salad arrived and we had nearly finished before my daughter's corn arrived after chasing the waiter to find out where it was, The cost was over $70-00 US dollars, a total rip off. We were absolutely disgusted. The best thing that you could do here is to play Transcendental hide and seek, Close your eyes, count backwards from 60, then open your eyes and go and find yourself. If you are considering going here, Don't waste your time, your money or your intellectual capacity, it is not worth the effort.More
DON'T GO THERE they tried to rip us off promising free parking and no minimum spend to attract us and then at the end forced us to pay a minimum above our drinks and pay for the parking!!! Complete rip off go somewhere else believe...meMore
I was there couple times and I want to say thank you for best dishes, perfect vibes and mostly best live musicians in this beach club. Perfect place for have a nice day near the ocean
Amazing restaurant/bar on the beach! Comfortable seating, umbrellas, quick and friendly service. We got the guacamole and hummus plates - both delicious!! Nely and Jair took excellent care of us!
Emmanuel’s service on the beach was exceptional. Ask for him. You’ll have a great time and he’s always on hand and ready
Amazing vibes - 10/10 would recommend. The beach is fantastic and the bar service was exceptional. Also, they have a pool which is nice change from a lot of the other hotels on the strip. Jair, the manager, was the best!! He helped us with...reservations, drink orders, club spots, and recommendations with what to do. Thank you and we will be coming back! Highly recommend!!More
