Food and service was lovely although was expensive compared to the last time we visited. I am aware you need to make a profit due to COVID over the last two years although would be nice to have some consideration for visitors and there money....Also the salad bar was lovely although again was disappointed I couldn’t pick my own portions again I am aware this is changed due to COVID although I’m sure there would be a way to do this different. Overall we had a lovely visit just the price and the way the salad bar is run.More

Love this Harvester, staff are always friendly and polite. Food is hot and tasty, can't ask for much more. Visited on a Friday, it's always very busy but seems to always be organised.

To start we ordered starters. Starters ok Drinks lovely and cool. Issue started with main. Family member had curry, curry cole, rice overcooked and hard. When spoke waitess she said can see how dry and hard it is. I had chicken. Gravy was cold, chips...ok and then big problem, chicken wasnt cooked and blood coming out of it. Lets go on side orders. Garlic dough balls cold amd sweet potatoes fry dry and again cold. Out of three people. One member ended up eating food. Other two wasted due to eithier overcooked, under cooked or being cold. I felt sorry waitess as you could see she was delaing with conplaint after complain after complaint from varies tables. All having same issue food over or under cooked or cold. Food kept being exchanged or changed and issues seemed to kee going. I didnt see manager deal with one complaint or issue or even laise with kitchen staff as it was obvious ghe issue was cooking. Manager appeared oblivious as kept seeing him on his phone. Fact chicken wasnt cooked dangerous. I think the store need train or hire new cooks and definetly consider a different manager. One supports his team, deals with customers, coaches and trains staff. He appeared to ignore and not sort issue. If it wasnt fact demi waitress was awesome and could see she was delaing everyone i think she was and should be a managerMore

Seated quickly and covid process explained, e.g staff serve you your salad at the salad bar. Cheerful and helpful waitress. Service was a bit slow but restaurant was full. I had the chicken katsu bowl which was very tasty.

After getting past all the traffic in the q for McDonalds got seated straight away. Had the traditional breakfast 2 sausage, egg, bacon beans hash browns, mushrooms and tomato. also had toast and tea that was extra. The food was good apart from the sausage...been a bit burnt on one side. I would have liked to have black pudding but they did have hash browns and mushrooms that seem to be missing at some places. For the price I will not be returning £37 for the 3 of us it would have been £15 at our usual place. I wouldn't say avoid as the food was not that bad and perfect service but I am more of a traditional breakfast at a local Cafe.More

Normally we have a lovely meal here but today it was not good. We booked a table and they gave us the smallest one in the corner where it was so boiling and no air con could be felt. We ordered our food and a...Passion Fruit Martini. Whilst waiting we went up to get our salad. The waitress has to do it for you which we were aware of but it’s not the same. There were no carrots available and the white bread rolls were about to go in the oven so we had to wait for them. Sat back at the table - my martini was there but they said they had no actual Passion fruit to put in it. So I just had a fruit-less drink. Still boiling, our food came quite quick. The chips looked anaemic and my burger was dry as a bone. I asked for Jack Daniels sauce (Bourbon sauce) - they didn’t have any left. Hardly ate the meal and I felt bad but it was rubbish sorry. By the end of our meal our white rolls finally came lol. I know you can’t blame the oven but still? It came to the end of our meal. We asked if they had Red Devil sauce bottles that we could buy (they always sell them and they advertise it on their T-shirt) - guess what… None available!More

My partner and I decided on a whim to see if Harvester had any last minute tables available to go for dinner. Called up and the person on the phone (I believe the person seating tables when we arrived - tall and slim) was really...accommodating and said if we could make it down within half hour we could get a table - prefect! So we rushed on down. We were seated and explained everything about salad bar and who our server would be etc. I am really hoping I have got this right but I think our waiter's name was Jack (young, brunette hair, serving the area closest to the bar on the left) - If I have got this wrong, I hope you know who I mean. He was with us swiftly after we were seated and took our drinks order. I did have some trouble with ordering (I'm fussy and asked to change a few things - some of which weren't possible), but the Jack was so patient with me. He offered certain alternatives they could do, recommended what to have etc. We went up to the salad bar which was served quickly by another team member. Food was with us fairly quickly after we finished. I have to be honest, I did think to myself Harvester prices have gone up since I've been, but the quality of food was great. Everything was hot and delicious! We wanted dessert but were so full we couldn't sadly. If I had one minor minor gripe it would be that the music playing in the bar area is louder than that of the restaurant and so you can hear two songs being played at the same time which niggled at me the whole time so would be great if that could be changed. But apart from that very small bit of feedback, it was so so lovely to go out to a restaurant that was well staffed and staffed with team members who knew what they were doing. Everything ran smoothly and it was such a relaxing, easy visit. I literally said to my partner that I haven't had an experience as smooth as it since pre-Covid days (which is obviously understandable for the most part). I must say though the guy who served us (I hope it is Jack) deserves some damn good praise. He was so friendly, approachable and attentive with everyone - as were all the staff. Will definitely be back again - thank you so much!!More
