We came here from the suggestion of the TA reviews. It is a little obscure building, not really much around it. Looks were definitely deceiving. I wasn't too sure about the dishes either, but I ordered the shrimp alfredo and a cocktail and my husband...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our shrimp Alfredo. A unique variation on this dish - included sweet peppers. Best shrimp Alfredo we have eaten, and rates up there with one of our best meals on T & C. Service was great, too! Not located on the beach,...More

The owner was awesome and down to earth. We parked it at the bar and enjoyed a $25 bucket of beer and appetizers. Love the lantern, too!

Delicious with a clean fun atmosphere. Brightly colored opaque lights adorn the main dining area. Attentive service in a relaxed setting. So the bartender noticed I finished my first mango martini and left his busy station to cross the room and see if I might...More

We arrived at 5 pm, which is supposed to be the opening time, but only the kitchen staff were there. They tried their best to accommodate us, but could not speak English. The owner showed up about half an hour later, claiming traffic delays? But...More

My husband and I went to dinner here one night and we loved it. We felt like we were served a nice home cooked meal. My coconut crusted grouper was moist and crispy, my baked potato creamy and I also had fresh steamed vegetables. It...More

Based on the reviews from TA we visited last night. The food was good, but not the best we have had. The Grouper was very good, as was the fried Conch. The fritters were also good. The service was okay, but could have been more...More

Description
The "Caravel" was a ship developed by the Portuguese to explore along the West African Coast and into the Caribbean. This ship had a distinctive shape and admirable qualities. A gently sloping bow single stern castle were prominent features of this vessel. Although the caravel had already been in use for hundreds of years, it advanced into an incredibly fast, easily maneuverable vessel, which was noticed by eminent people. This extraordinary vessel gained fame with the Portuguese and Spanish voyages of discovery. Columbus's ships Nina and Pinta were supposedly caravels and Columbus repeatedly praise his favorite ship, Nina, for her great speed, maneuverability and safety.
