We absolutely loved the fish tacos and blackened grouper so much that we came back 2 nights later and it was just as amazing the 2nd time as well. If you want great food and great service, Caravel is the place to go!!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu selection was nice and our food was wonderful. The coconut grouper and cracked conch are a must! The portion sizes are large so make sure you go hungry. They have take home boxes as well.

The fish here is just phenomenal. Coming from someone who is not really a fan of fish in general, that’s a big deal for me. The first time we ate here, I ordered the fish tacos and my husband ordered the blackened grouper (he asked...More

Great food, but service and prices let this restaurant down. Would love to visit here several times during our stays, but everything here is too slow, and too pricey. Hate to have to say that, since the food is so good.

We tried the Caravel on our third trip to TCI. It was conveniently located a few steps away from Ocean Club West where we stayed. The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable (30$ for a lobster tail). We also had the...More

Our family stopped in here last night as we were told about how great the chicken wings and tacos were, they didn't disappoint! Great food, friendly service, would definitely recommend and would like to return next time we visit Turks!

Amazing food! The tacos were fantastic! There also is a kids menu with plenty of choices! It’s a quick walk from most of the resorts!

Description
The "Caravel" was a ship developed by the Portuguese to explore along the West African Coast and into the Caribbean. This ship had a distinctive shape and admirable qualities. A gently sloping bow single stern castle were prominent features of this vessel. Although the caravel had already been in use for hundreds of years, it advanced into an incredibly fast, easily maneuverable vessel, which was noticed by eminent people. This extraordinary vessel gained fame with the Portuguese and Spanish voyages of discovery. Columbus's ships Nina and Pinta were supposedly caravels and Columbus repeatedly praise his favorite ship, Nina, for her great speed, maneuverability and safety.
