We ordered the conch fritters and vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer. But the main course was the real treat! I had the coconut crusted grouper with the mango chutney. It is the best piece of fish I’ve ever eaten! My husband had the taco...More

Selected this restaurant based on the favourable reviews and the short drive from our accommodation. Enjoyed the conch fritters (they were one of the happy hour selections so the lower price was an added bonus). The grilled lobster was very good. The key lime pie...More

You are friendly welcome. Very good food. The restaurant apparently operates since 2014. When ordering, the guy is open for any adjustments. Service is reasonably fast Customer first seems to be their ‘Motto’. Family, couples, Groups welcome. Fair prices. Enjoy !

Our group of 6 dined at Caravel last night. Did not disappoint. Reviews are accurate. All of us enjoyed out meals. Three had the Fish Taco’s and said they were spectacular. Would eat there again.

The outside looks like your grandma's porch..inside has a mixture of decor (liked the fun lights though ) but put aside the confused look, the food is surprisingly really good! We ate here a couple times and found it much better than coco bistro for...More

We all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant ambience is very plain. The service was fine but the staff was not overly outgoing. The food was good, especially the tacos! Unfortunately, my daughter and I had horrible stomach pains at the end of our meals (we...More

We're a 20-something couple from Detroit here for a spring break. Found this place for our last-night dinner after we couldn't get last minute reservations at Coco Bistro, Infiniti, etc. Thank God. Because for quite literally half the price, this is an intimate little place,...More

The "Caravel" was a ship developed by the Portuguese to explore along the West African Coast and into the Caribbean. This ship had a distinctive shape and admirable qualities. A gently sloping bow single stern castle were prominent features of this vessel. Although the caravel had already been in use for hundreds of years, it advanced into an incredibly fast, easily maneuverable vessel, which was noticed by eminent people. This extraordinary vessel gained fame with the Portuguese and Spanish voyages of discovery. Columbus's ships Nina and Pinta were supposedly caravels and Columbus repeatedly praise his favorite ship, Nina, for her great speed, maneuverability and safety.
