This has been the worst experience ever. We were with two children and waited for 1-1/2 hour and our food never arrived. After we ask them for the third time “where is our order?” the waitress comes out with a made up order (wings and...fries) stating it was our order… They totally lost our order. Manager never came up to the table to appologies.. We left without eating.More
Last night in Puerto Rico after a week of eating lots of local cuisin- not impressed. Didn't finish my meal or my cocktail.
Never come to this place. They made us wait 1 hour for 2 sandwiches and had not even started preparing our order. Our server was really embarrassed and said the cook was preparing 10 more sandwiches to go, which had been placed WAY after we...placed our order. No manager, no apology, NOTHING. They don’t care about customer service.More
Visited this restaurant this past week on vacation, we went there 3 times because the food was good. I had beef empanadas, yellow plantains, mozzarella sticks, and the grilled pork chop. We also tried the garlic bread (which was meh and basic so I sent...it back) and we tried both the Puerto Rican rice with beans as well as white rice and beans (and the both of those were basic as well, very much on the slimy side). But when I tell you everything else I listed was amazing. Great food. Most times you have to point and show the waiter what you want because must servers don’t speak English but nothing you can’t manage. This place is a must try. Trust me.More
It's an ok place. It was full when I came so it almost took an hour from sitting down to get my food. I ordered the Mangú with vegetables and a Mofongo Yuca. Everything was a bit dry and didn't have too much flavor.
Terrible experience! DO NOT GO! Bad food, long slow lines, unorganized, etc... The staff was overworked underpaid and set up to fail. Had a belly ache for days after eating here ( The little bit I ate). SMDH
Drinks were decent, food was ok. I had the rice with chicken (arroz con pechuga) which for me had entirely wayyyyyy too much chicken and not a whole lot of flavor). All plates were fully loaded with a few portions (enough for lunch or dinner)...but it had too much meat to truly enjoy it). Family had (from what I recall) the mofongo with steak (this was rated well by my mother), a seafood salad (couldn’t find the name of it but it had a base of lettuce topped with mussels, shrimp, octopus, chicken, fish, calamari and some veggies) which I feel is summed up as a ceviche salad kinda which was ordered by my father who enjoyed it thoroughly. I believe they’d probably rate the restaurant as a 4+, it’s all based on palette and for me, it was an ok place to eat.More
They have a fantastic breakfast and a very reasonable price. We go there every time we visit San Juan.
I came with my friend Pedro for breakfast and enjoyed a great meal... scarbled eggs with vegetables and toast! Coffee too of course! They used to open 24/7 now please check for opening hours! Their mofongos are really good!
STAY AWAY. Wow. Horrible. This place is a place to avoid. The service is horrible. Non attentive waiters. The food was gross and bland. Chicken - breaded cheap chicken with a ton of cheese. No flavor. Fish - frozen, bland. Barely cooked. No seasoning. Fries...- barely cooked. Tossed in the plate with no salt or anything. It’s sold how you can mess up fries. If you can mess up fries you can mess up everything. Vegetables is a bag of frozen vegetables tossed in a microwave and served in water. There nothing special about this place at all. It’s horrible. Felt like we’d walk out with food poisoning. Sangria was gross. Tasted old. Like it was sitting around. They refuse to offer glasses of water. Make you pay for bottled water.More
