This place is truly upscale but very pricey. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our day out here even though the beach staff was clearly overwhelmed. I wish we could afford to go here more regularly but this will be a special occasion only beach day for us. Great food, valet parking and a pretty good beach aside from the local boaters that anchored in a long row directly in front of the beach chairs. I think they will need to review price points during offseason if they want a viable business plan.

This location is on a very precarious beach that sadly has suffered from erosion. The restaurant has a young vibe with background club music playing. The food is very creative and has a wide range of snacks and meals to chose from. We booked a beach bed for 10 30 am and brunch for 10.30 the staff are very efficient and bring water and small tables to the edge of the beach, you can't control the weather and by 11 we had to abandon the beach as the sea was rough and was drenching the beach beds, so we took our table for brunch. Its not cheap but everywhere in Barbados has become so over priced its difficult to find a meal and drink for under £100. the restaurant was covid safe with masked waiters are very attentive. I think a reduction or refund on the beach bed would have been a good gestures we left at 12.30 not the all day experience we were looking for

Really nice setting on Mullins beach and the vibe is very much European beach club. A good range of food including for children and whilst quite pricey in my view it offers currently the best fare on the island alongside Tides, with the Cliff closed for refurbishment. Staff are all very professional and helpful and if you are on island this place is definately worth a visit.

The restaurant screwed up our reservation and after waiting for 20 minutes in their lounge area to be seated, we were seated at the back of the furthermost area of the deck in the restaurant, when we initially requested to be seated by the ocean. We asked if we could be placed at open tables closer to the ocean but were told they were already reserved. When our meals were brought to the table we were inundated by flies (easily 10 or more flies) landing all over the table and our food and had to ask the waiter more than once if they could do something about the flies. After 10 minutes of fending the flies, some clove oil was brought to the table which did have some effect of minimising the flies. We were informed with 15 minutes of the 2 hour dining allocated time for the table that they would need the table within the exit 15 minutes. We were watching the entertainment playing an acoustic session and hoped to be able to remain at our table watching them until they were done. With 2-3 minutes of our allocated time at the table we were brought our bill. At the 2 hour allocated time for the table, one of the staff came to our table with a portable card machine for us to pay. We paid and remained at or table continuing to watch the entertainment. Within 1 minute of paying we were advised that our 2 hour allocated time for the table was up and they would need the table and we could move to the lounge to continue watching the entertainment. We then pointed out to the waiter that there were at least 3 tables within proximity of our table were the dinners were at those tables when we first arrived, so clearly they were there longer than us but they weren't being asked to give up their tables and move to the lounge area, at which point we where given two different excuses why they weren't asked to move yet. Generally, from our initially reservation being screwed up to being placed at a one of the least desirableness tables in the restaurant, to our experience with flies while trying to eat our meal and then to be asked to give up or table when others at surrounding tables who were seated before we arrived were not asked to also give their tables up, our experience was less than enjoyable. Needles to say I would not be inclined to return to this restaurant and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Having said that, our meal was decent.

We were going to be late for our dinner reservation, so we called and agreed a new time, no problem. When we got there we were treated like walk ins. We were taken to a table in the bar which was not conducive to a long leisurely dinner. However no other tables available. I am not sure it matters when you book what you put in as your seating preference. We then had to chase down service, and only ordered pizzas and drinks due to sitting in high chairs next to many revellers. Food was fine but you don’t get much of a sense of what might be good with our simple choices. We had a fun time, good atmosphere but not quite what we were expecting. Would like to try again for an evening with comfortable dining arrangement....think it’s more focused on the drinking rather than the dining but might get a different impression next visit.

We have eaten lots of times since opening a few years ago and always supported The Seashed well ! The food is good and great choice of menu. STAFF although they are all very pleasant we had to wait or even ask to order drinks we eventually ordered wine and had eaten our main course before it got to the table. Twice now nobody has come and asked if we would like desert etc. Service is definitely not as good as it was which is a shame hopefully management can get on top of this issue quickly before it slips more.

The Seashed has quickly become our favourite restaurant on the island. The setting is beautiful right on Mullins Beach, perfect for a sundowner experience, then it is transformed into the most beautiful dining experience, lit up with fairy lights and large gas lit torches, the decor light, clean and relaxed, the perfect beachfront venue built cleverly into its natural environment. You can eat in the bar, main restaurant or on the beach itself. The staff are without doubt the most professional, friendly and attentive group of people we’ve ever met, who go out of their way to make your time there extra special. Now onto the food and drink, all of it, whatever you choose, will be amazing! Coconut Shrimp was the best and the Octopus Carpaccio with mango beads was unbelievably good, the pizzas are flavoursome and thin crust and the desserts especially the creme brûlée are devine. Special thanks to Sakina, Kyle, Kirt, Onell, Sara, and Lakeisha, we’ll see you next year xx

We dined at Seashed on a number of occasions during our recent visit and a couple of times for Sundowners. The location, style and atmosphere are superb, as is the food and service and certainly the best venue in Speightstown. This is a 'must visit' whilst in Barbados and an opportunity to dine right on the waters edge - you will not be disappointed

This would have been our 3rd visit to the Seashed as it’s rapidly becoming one of our favourite restaurants, but the weather intervened! We arrived for our 5pm table but decided to have a rum punch in the bar area first. Whilst drinking it a member of staff came over to tell us the Government had ordered all restaurants & gas stations to close due to the weather! We were asked if we would like to choose something off the menu and they would pack it up to take away. They also phoned for a taxi and bought us another drink whilst we were waiting for our food. Special shout-out to Jason who looked after us very well.

Great addition to the west coast. We were welcomed here for lunch (with no booking, despite being very busy) and staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding, the mojitos pretty good also! We decided to return for dinner and glad we did. Service just as good and food great. Be advised - this spot is best for a late lunch. It is quiet for dinner and you may feel a little more comfortable if you dress a little smarter than swim shorts!

The service at sea shed was not what I expected. I was told by others to try this restaurant as its alot to look forward to. Upon arrivial there was no parking and were told to park opposite the restaurant which was somewhere where we were told we are not suppose to park. I reached for my time at 3:30pm and in the first email was told I had the table for 2 hours. I was told to go over to the lounge area and have a seat until my table was ready. I understood the restaurant has its demands and I did not mind sitting. I should have noted earlier I'm a pregnant woman and I was with my boy friend. Upon reaching our table after 4:00pm we sat and our glasses of water were dry after ordering a sparkling wafer which sat in the bucket and no one checked on us. At 4:45 i had nothing to eat no drinks were offered. I then took matters in my own hands and told a waiter I am pregnant and I am extremely hungry. We then got our appetizers about 20 mins after and we ordered our drink. With the mains we told the waiter to bring two daiquiries. We got the mains and no drinks. I was utterly disgusted with the service especially as a pregnant woman which no one seemed to care about. I saw people around me being served who came well after us. Im disappointed and I was let down. We concluded Sea Shed is somewhere we will never eat again.

This restaurant has a fantastic location on Mullins Beach and the interior is really well designed. We enjoyed the music being played and general ambiance. However, the food was no more than standard pub fare and I don’t know how they can justify the prices being charged. We had a good evening but left feeling slightly robbed at well over US $250 for 2 people no dessert and no wine. Sorry just not somewhere I’d want to back to at that price.

Been to other beaches this week but told Mullen beach was good. This place had beach sun beds at 25 Barbados dollars per person and included free iced water topped up all day. We had a meal at lunchtime and. Couple of cocktails - present surroundings and staff good - only disappointment was the Beach which was rocky and hard to get into the water - but water sports available and overall good day. We prefer Bristol beach a few yards away

We were recommended this restaurant, having been holidaying before in Barbados but not been here It’s an impressive location on Mullins Beech and looks very smart with different levels to eat on with a good menu and reasonable wine list We did find that it was very noisy with loud thumping music playing all the time that made it really difficult to talk to friends or hear what was being said The vibe is geared to a younger generation and the bar area had a lot of younger folk in it. We enjoyed the Seashed however the excessive music being played spoilt the enjoyment. I personally think the volume should be toned down in the eating areas.

We called in for lunch having booked online. Limited parking on site, we parked in side road opposite. A canvas covered seating area overlooking Mullins Beach. Very good garlic bread starter and large main course pizzas. Number of seafood options. Lovely setting with beach views and good service. Unusually 12.5% service charge (rather than normal 10%). Our lunch for 4 people 2 starters with 4 main courses and limited drinks B$370 but after tax etc “add-ons” total B$460.
