A popular eatery in Lipa City

This place is quite popular in Lipa City. The place is simple, non-airconditioned (perhaps due to covid-related protocols), and serves a good selection of affordable foods and drinks. The food is tasty and service is quite fast. However, parking slots are very limited and traffic is terrible.

Good, but Not Extraordinary

We went here last night as recommended by my cousin, who lives in Lipa. As someone who loves kare-kare, I was curious to try their Krispy Kare-Kare. I like their concept with the plating, wooden boards with paper -- though not actually unique. I also like the lighting. The space is too cramp though. Tables are too near each other that you would have to ask someone to stand up from their seat so you could pass. I understand that this restaurant is quite popular in Lipa, so maybe it's time to get a bigger place, for a better dining experience. There was also not enough parking space so we had to park several meters away and just on the sidewalk. The menu is also limited. They have like 8 or 10 different set dishes on the wall and that's it. My husband and I ordered the Krispy Kare-Kare. My husband said it's okay, but I didn't really like it. It was sweet. I assume they use peanut butter for it. I grew up eating my grandmother's special kare-kare which was made from freshly ground peanuts.. and they are definitely not sweet. My daughter liked the spicy buffalo wings -- On the Wings of Love. And my son loved Aladdin's Treasure, which I described to him as like burger streak but with white sauce. Will we go back? Maybe. But I'll try the sisig next time.

Good value for money

Servings are sometimes good for 2 if you are not a heavy eater but over all you get very good value for money. They only have a small selection in the menu which makes every order good in their own way.

Nice Food at Reasonable Price

Although we lost our way in going to this place, because google map gave us the long way..its all worth it. Food was good at a very low price..their pricey food which was the "Baby Come Back" (grill back ribs) only worth P135. I loved their KKK or Karekare. Liempo and sisig were also good..pictures below were Baby Come Back, Kare Kare, Sisig and Liempo. Actually its my second time to be here.

Affordable, limited menu

We were three and we ordered four dishes. The cost was less than 500 pesos which I think is very affordable. Their sisig was very good, however their baby back ribs is a bit dry. Their portions are large. Their ribs have a potato salad side dish but not all dishes have one. My wife ordered their kare kare. Its sauce was good and a little sweet. The meat however was fatty. It has no side dish only an extra sauce. Their menu is limited. To be fair, we will definitely go back and try their other dishes.

Affordable Filipino Gourmet!!!

The branch located in Downton Lipa City near Lipa City Cultural Center have a good ambiance for dining. Service is great as well as the food. Price is very affordable and value for money...EXCELLENT! Definitely will comeback to try the other menu.

The place is dirty

The food is good but service and place needs improvement. Food takes a little bit longer than average serving time and the floors are dirty. The food is great though, especially the krispy kare kare. If you are not really particular with dirty, disgusting floors and sticky tables then the food is worth it.

It's clean, it has nice music, decorated modern and progressive. The food is really the best. Nice flavors, good quality. No use of cornstarch, at least as far I can say. There are about 10 + dishes available. I almost ate them all and can say: really, really nice. These people know how to make a dish round and tasty. It all comes with a soup and an ice tea. Tasty soup, fresh ice tea. Even better food. All employees were dressed properly and the way they were working was efficient and customer orientated. There was this young lady, the supervisor, I think. Looked like she brought international spirit to this place. ....But what happened now?? Quality and service is dropping. Not once but constantly more and more. Please guys don't do this. Actually I was wondering about the prices. Average of 80 pesu for a complete meal!. In this quality! That's not possible. So please, get back to quality and service. Increase the prices, but don't drop the quality!!

Good eats at a good price

I chanced upon this restaurant on my way home from Church. If you are driving from Lipa Town Proper, it is at the right side along Morada St. What I love the most is that the prices are very reasonable. This restaurant is suitable for everyone. Families, group of friends, business acquaintances etc. The interiors are clean and well lit. They have a communal table for solo eaters. I ordered their liempo and I like it because you can eat it on its own without the sauce. The menu is quite simple. They just offer a few dishes. This grill is self service. Order at the counter. Remember your number and pay attention when it is called. Try it when you are in the area.
