One of those rare things these days, a busy pub. The food and atmosphere was excellent. Service was great and the landlord very welcoming. Visited with my family for Sunday lunch, but the menu was so varied, only one of us had the roast!

A return visit here was a little disappointing- beer was good as was the service but my steak pie was poor - heavily microwaved I suspect ,and the chips were a greasy mess.
