Arrived at the store around 11:15. 4 people waiting outside. A male clerk asked me if I was using the restaurant, and when I told him it was my first time, he carefully explained the onigiri rules. When it's cold, it's nice to be served hot tea while you wait outside. I entered the store after waiting outside for about 10 minutes. Of course, the store was full. And the female rate is 90%! A female clerk comes to take your order, so it's time to order. ・Sujiko (650 yen) Large (50 yen) ・Egg yolk pickled in soy sauce (400 yen) ・Salmon (350 yen) ・Miso soup tofu (200 yen) --------------------------------- Once you place your order, they will start making the rice balls. Use a rice ball mold to lightly shape the rice ball with your hands. The method of making it is quite similar to that of Bogoto in Otsuka, Tokyo. One piece is about the same size as two convenience store rice balls. It arrived about 5 minutes after ordering. Well, let's have it! ・Sujiko large When I ordered Sujiko at Bogo in Otsuka, Tokyo, there was a lot of Sujiko and I wished I had had a little more rice, but at this restaurant you can order a larger portion with more rice, so I ordered a larger one. The large one is quite large. One large rice bowl is enough for 2 bowls of rice. There's a good balance between the generous amount of sujiko and the rice, but it's still quite strong. A generous amount of sujiko is a luxury, but I feel that balance is important when making onigiri. When I ate about half of it, I made it into dashi chazuke and it tasted just right. It might be best to make sujiko rice balls with dashi chazuke. ・Egg yolk pickled in soy sauce A sticky egg yolk soy sauce. I like this. ·Salmon A piece of flaked salmon. It's delicious, but I think it would be more filling if it wasn't loosened. ・Miso soup tofu Tofu miso soup that you can refill. Of course, I had a second helping. ------------------------------------- Rice balls reminiscent of Otsuka Nobogo in Tokyo. There wasn't much of a queue, and with this quality, I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Service is exceptional! The staff really welcome you as soon as you step through the door. The food was delicious. Each onigiri is huge; they are at least double the size of what you get at the convenience stores. We got lucky when we stopped by. There was no line, but right after we sat down the queue was 10+ people. Definitely stop by as soon as they open.

This small restaurant is fantastic for both those that are new to onigiri or a seasoned pro. The staff is incredibly enthusiastic with their greetings and the chefs personable. It only seats 15 at a time but turns over quickly. You sit right at the bar and it is made in front of you. These are not the same size you see in many food stalls. One is a meal. The rice is warm out of the cooker and all ingredients are fresh with generous portions. Worth the wait

Nice food, nice range of options. Free refill of misoshiru (miso soup) and if you have leftover rice you can make it a Ochazuke (a soup made of Japanese green tea very popular), without extra costs. Staff extremely friendly and exciting! Good place to try good onigiri with nice rice, miso soup and ochazuke. Recommend!

This is the BEST onigiri spot! All staff were friendly and attentive to customer needs. They have English menu for foreigners, and most of them speak some English as well. When seated they will let you know who will be making your food, and they even tell you which spot is good for taking pictures of your food. Portion of food is great as well. Everything is yummy!! And you can make your own soup stock to get with your onigiri as well!! It’s conveniently located near Shinshabashi. Highly recommend for those traveling to Osaka. Would definitely visit again!!

Very good service. Queued outside slightly earlier than the opening time and had our orders taken even before we were allowed in. We were encouraged to take videos of how the onigiri were made and staff were very friendly! The food was great too!

I had breakfast and visited at an odd time. There was a long wait when I passed by during lunch time, but since it was an odd time, I was able to eat without waiting. Umeboshi is sour and sweeter than expected, so it's not recommended for ochazuke! Ochazuke is great with pollack roe or beef stew! It's really more delicious to eat Ochazuke than to eat it plain!!!!! Be sure to eat it :) I’m happy that my accommodation is nearby👍 The staff are so kind and friendly. I intend to visit again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was an incredible dinner - the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming to an English-speaking customer. They had called our attention prior to making the onigiri so we could film, if we liked! They even recommended the best spot to take a photo. The food was incredible. We’d had the Negitoro + Egg Yolk, the Salmon + Salmon Roe, and the Tuna Mayo and Shibazuke pickles; and each of them were showstoppers. Do not skip on the chazuke to finish out the meal; whether you finish each onigiri with it, or just the last that you eat, it’s a great, warm finish with a balanced flavor to compliment any onigiri you order.

Mina was very accommodating, I have celiac disease and was trying to figure out if I could eat anything on the menu. Mina sat with me and was translating back and forth with me about ingredients. They do not use rice vinegar in their rice, however, the seaweed contains soy sauce. I ordered a onigiri without seaweed, and the plain salmon is gluten free! Don’t know about cross contamination, but from what we could see, the rice comes directly out of the rice cooker and touches one cutting board to shape it into a ball, seaweed is added later. It’s so delicious!!!

Amazing food and service!! We loved their warm greeting as we entered and the host Mina while we waited to go inside the restaurant. I ordered the salmon ikura onigiri and the minced beef and egg yolk onigiri. Both the best onigiri I’ve ever had. Highly highly recommend this place!

Hands down the best onigiri I’ve ever had my entire life. When I saw it from the outside I had doubts because the shop looked so normal (but my girlfriend was running towards the shop). We went at around 3.30pm or so. The moment we walked into the store, we were met with a coordinated welcome by the staffs. We sat down and ordered our food which took around 5-7mins for our food to be served. Which is totally understandable judging by the store’s size and amount of space available for the staff to put the onigiri together. Ok now to the good part. We ordered the salmon roe with salmon meat which was the top choice. The stuffing was so perfect and quoting from my girlfriend, “it’s like a new universe just exploded in your mouth.” So dayummmm. Go for it. This is not your TikTok hypes. Not your overly rated stores. Go for it and thank all the 5-stars raters later. You’re welcome.

Good for a light meal~~ Recommended!!! It was a great feeling to see the store clerks greeting me with enthusiasm and warmth from the morning. It would be beneficial for the owner to raise their hourly wages by twice as much. I recommend 1 2 3 as recommended menus, and if you eat them in that order, 3 2 1, you will be able to enjoy a delicious meal!

I came here for lunch on the second day of my trip to Japan. My friend who was acting as a guide searched for this rice ball restaurant and found it. There was a lot of waiting. I waited patiently and the menu was salmon roe + salmon and pork kimchi, and I was satisfied haha. The water was saltier than I expected. I drank a lot, but the water was really refreshing. It was a hot summer, so I was thirsty, but it was good. And it was more than I expected, so I think people who like to eat should order two.

I discovered this place on Instagram and wanted to try it. I came to eat here with a friend before taking the train. We arrived a quarter of an hour before opening time and a line formed behind us. I recommend 100%! The onigiris are made a la minute before your eyes and the taste is there. The staff is also very friendly. In short, a great discovery!

This is an onigiri specialty store. It's delicious, the staff is friendly, and you can choose the ingredients to your heart's content. I could make ochazuke and eat it, but I wasn't able to eat it because I was full. The portion is quite large and it is fun to choose and eat it!! Tdabon~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
