These are the best dumplings in town. Best I had anywhere. Crowded and noisy all adds to the atmosphere

Went there in 2013. Nice dumplings and there are also vegetarian varieties for vegetarians that makes it all the more appealing. One of the finest veg eateries of Taiwan.

This is the original Din Tai Fung so of course it was a must do food pilgrimage, a thought shared by many tourists. The waiting time is displayed at the front and it wasn't too bad the day we went at 25 minutes. I have...More

Nearest MRT (Red line) Station is Dongmen (Exit 5). Walk straight to the right and when you see a restaurant with lot of people outside, that’s it. But don’t get disappointed with a lot of people because they are just ordering from the outside. Approach...More

My picky French friend gave me a doubtful look when I took him in the noisy restaurant. A friend of Michelin conniseiour. It's like saying what the heck you take me here. His first bite of Shrimp on Hot oil Sauce turned the world around....More

We ordered pickled cucumber, xiao long bao and a whole lot more after queueing for an hour or so. Everything is yummy especially the pickled cucumber on the picture.

The last time I visited, I was quite disappointed about their service and other issues, but now, the service is back to its standard, the food are still as good as it used to be. It did not disappoint me this time, worth the wait.

Xinyi Branch is the closest, taking the red line can get you there, you are very close to the restaurant exiting the best exit. Taxi is not too bad, from Taipei Station is about 110-120 NT.
