Good restaurant and great staff, and food is very very delicious! Cheese fundó was amazing and made me impressed!
Reserved lunch in the morning on the same day to celebrate father's day. We are family of 5 including a toddler, the restaurant arranged a table for us where we may parked the stroller nearby. Stuffs are friendly and helpful. Service is great. Each of...us ordered a main dish, and side dish is all you can eat. For half buffet system, the restaurant actually have quite lot of food options. Parents enjoyed the food here and we all had a great time.More
This is a very comfortable buffet setting. Unlike other buffet places in Taichung, the emphasize is on quality and NOT quantity. The hostess and waiters are friendly and can speak English. There is no rush or long lines to get your food. There is no...rush to kick you out! The dessert is really good!More
Breakfast buffet is rather limited but the food was fresh and tasty. Could use more food options though. Good coffee and seating is nice. Staff were nice and attentive.
The service is excellent and food is fresh and delicious. Especially the desert, there are various kinds of it.
It is a nice experience. The food is good and nice service. Suggest that if there are more kinds of drinks, it will be better.
The restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Millennium hotel offers a nice buffet breakfast daily. They have a good variety of Western and Eastern dishes. Freshly squeezed orange juice and warm bread pudding are highlights for breakfast. Dinner buffet is also nice.
I was thinking I'd have to give this elegant buffet five circles--but then the lobster arrived. It was overcooked and frankly a little tasteless. For what they were charging, it should have been memorable. The most popular add-on, just from what I could see other...people ordering, is steak--a huge portion. But you don't really need to order any add-on at all, because the buffet itself is very nice, with lots of fresh seafood and tasty salads. I focused on those (and was leaving room for my disappointing lobster), so I didn't eat many of the warm dishes. Extensive selection at the dessert bar, too.More
This is a good idea. You order your main course, with options such as ginseng chicken, duck, steak from the US, Boston lobster, and included is the buffet. We had a child in our party, and she only had the buffet. The lobster was great...(it took a few tries but they were finally able to melt butter for one of the American guests), duck was fine, and the steak looked ok, but possibly a little tough, despite being medium rare, since the guest had a somewhat difficult time cutting into it. I guess they have't figured out the Sous Vide method of cooking it yet? The duck was pretty good, decently flavorful, a couple of the pieces a little dry; but honestly, when I saw the buffet, I was more excited about the things served there than the duck. The sushi/sashimi was excellent, and very fresh, even though this was a Wednesday. They also had yellowtail, not just salmon and tuna! The stir fried lobster tail was ok, but a little too salty. The also had cold crabs as well as shrimp, large cracked crab legs, and other offerings on the cold seafood buffet station. I did try one of the big red crabs, and the meat was definitely not fresh (it was mealy), although i did not get sick. The large crab legs were better, but I went back to the sashimi. The rest of the buffet line was excellent, and they did have some non-asian food, as well as an individual asian noodle/hot pot station. Desserts were beautiful, and nice assortment. Ice cream was Haagen-Daas, but basic flavors (most exciting one was green tea). Coffee/espresso/cappuccino machines also served hot milky chocolate as well as hot milk tea. Unfortunately, no decaf, so I couldn't try the coffee drinks. Cold juices were excellent, including mango and pommelo (amazing!). Little cans of Coke/Sprite but I didn't waste my stomach. Overall, I'd rate this a go. If you're from the US, why go to Taiwan just to order US lobster or steak? I would have been happy with the sashimi, but I don't know how much it was for just the buffet. The duck was around 1100NT, perhaps, but again, I can't remember. We ended up averaging about $50 usd per person, with 3/8 getting the lobster or steak. If they have a buffet-only option for around 900-1000 NT, I'd go with that!More
I really enjoyed the meal in this restaurant every time, especially choosing the main course plus semi-self service this time. There are so many kinds of hot food, soups, fresh fruit, desserts and good quality of coffee. It is very special to serve the crabs...from Japan, and I really love and eat it a lot. As for the main course, I select 12-oz beef rib, and the taste is really delicious. In addition, the staffs have good service and can recommend the guests for the selection of the main course and other question. If there is any specific top/objective of the restaurant this year, I am looking forward to attending it againMore
Was at millenium hotel for a meeting and this is the all day restaurant. Opted for a la carte instead of buffet Had the chicken ginseng soup and singapore hokkien noodles. Both not bad. The noodles was a huge portion. But couldn't taste the ginseng...in the soup Service is ok to good 10% discount for hotel guestsMore
近來標價有改變。以主餐為高低價差,個人不同。食物以波士頓龍蝦號名,不過重點不必是那個。甜點的多樣及細緻,才是最特殊之處。We were happy to dine there though the price for each was very high according to the common expectations of people in Taichung. However, recently the prices vary according to each one ordering one's main dish. More inexpensive now. As to the rest of the...food, one may choose from the original supplies. The desserts are very heavenly-A MUST!More
My Business Associate invites us for lunch at Soluna for a working lunch. Ambience is good and the staff is efficient and polite. Service is fast too. The buffet selection is good with Japanese, local and some western grill. Regrettably the food is lacked flavor...and taste. Not that kind of standard one expect from a fine dining outlet.More
A lot of seafood were nicely prepared by the chef. There was also a lot of Crab dish. All the dish were excellent. The dessert are a nice little selection while nothing is so impressive there. You get all you can drink beer and wine...so make sure to enjoy your time and to not eat too much too fast. The only downside is the very high price tag for a one person dinner: ~$80. That say, I had a long day without food and this was the best dinner I could have picked. I might return if I am really hungry :-)More
