As you may already know traveling through Philippines can be difficult for coffee lovers. However, Port Barton is really lucky to be an exception from this rule, there is not just one but two amazing cafe shops with most delicious coffee. First place would be...Cafe Milano lead by lovely Italian couple 🇮🇹. You can really feel Italy there . Obligatory This vibe comes with coffee culture and tradition. Furthermore they serve breakfast and delicious Italian pastries with my beloved tiramisu as well, even though you can’t get mascarpone in the island, they make it work, how? It’s already a sweet secret, you have to discover on you own ;).More

Exceptional coffee (even good coffee is a rarity in this part of the Philippines so I can’t really explain just how happy this has made us) …and Milano Café have genuinely healthy breakfast options (also a rarity here). Plant based milks and options are also...available and this is the first place I have found golden milk on offer (also exceptional). I think we have been back everyday since our first visit. Really hoping we have enough time remaining in Port Barton to try the Gelato. The owners are kind and knowledgeable and the ethos they have created in Milano Café is admirable, with tips going to college funds for their staff. The seating area is clean, spacious and very welcoming in a chilled out relaxing way. Highly recommend. We will be back.More

I was not greeted with a smile or "hello" by either of the 2 owners at the counter. They told me the cappucino I wanted was 180 php. I asked if I could get a senior citizen discount. They said no. I said everywhere else...in the Philippines, coffee shops have given me 20% upon presentation of my ID CARD from Canada. They added that locals could get 10 % off, and so could I. I said ok. I tended a note of 1000 pesos. The owner lady says : "Would you have a smaller note ? ". I say : "Shure, give me 20% off, and I will gladly give you 2 x 100 php". So her husband angrily takes my 1,000 note and gives me back full change of 820 ! Bad attitude, bad service ! They want YOUR MONEY, your help and support, but THEY DON'T WANT TO GIVE ANYTHING ELSE IN EXCHANGE. My Gf and I are not going back there for the rest of our 10 day stay in Port Barton.More

Absolutely great coffee shop! Had breakfast there - the eggs cama with ciabatta bread, we had a delicious brownie and superb lattes. Right by the bus stop and minutes away from the beach. Super recommended!

You have to stop by for the gelato - delicious! And make sure you ask if they are doing dinner, we had blue cheese gnochi with walnuts with a nice Italian red! The owners are lovely and the coffee machine impressive!!

Served the best coffee and offered other menu items. But I just needed the coffee. Worth the stop for engaging conversation.

Such lovely owners, and all the sandwiches, coffees, teas and breakfasts we had were delish, we kept coming back. Top tip - take a panina to go when you're grabbing a bus out of Port Barton, it'll make your trip a LOT better. Also the...Chiara's Bowl is highly recommended. Thanks guys, good luck with the place!More

After hearing everyone I would meet on the streets of Port Barton rave about Milano Cafe, I popped in for some Gelato (it was night so didn't try the coffee). Omg was it amazing. Salted caramel and coconut... Yum!! Insanely good. My only regret is...that I didn't go sooner and more often. My friend was in love with the coffee and would go just about every morning. And she said the bruschetta was beautiful. Must try!!!!More

I loved Philippines, but the fact I could barely find a good coffee shop in the whole trip was making me lose all my hopes. Until I found Milano. Really good coffee and food. Congratulations Guys!

Great coffee at Milano cafe! A lovely place to have a good coffee, delicious gelato or a good (veggie) sandwich! The two Italian owners deliver great service as we had some nice chats with the owner about living abroad, travelling and the upcoming tourism in...the philippines. Milano cafe is the first italian coffee cafe in Port Barton and they are doing a good job. The owners are for sure very friendly and open for a conversation. The place has a calm and relaxing atmosphere to hang around. We came back a couple times to start (with coffee) or to end the day (with gelato). It is close to the bus terminal, so a good final stop before leaving to the next destination.More
