we were kinda late for dinner and the pizza diner we've swung by have already closed. as we were heading home still undecided where to heed the calls of gastric growls, this dimly lit italian resto caught my peripheral vision. they were already preparing to call it a night but they still accommodated us.
we ordered green salad, two kinds of pizza, pasta and chicken wings. in less than 15 minutes when our orders arrived, we devoured our meals within about the same period of time. amare exceeded our expectations.
the wait staff was attentive and mindful. perhaps they're also longing to go home in a huff. it's getting late and we're the only customers left inside. still, they showed us the courtesy due to any other customer, no matter how late we finished.
way to go, amare! we appreciate your good food and service.
