A Surprising place in a little village!Amazing food, amazing time, amazing service, from the Chef to the waiters! We can only recommend it to you! This place is worth one of the best table in Paris. Bistronomy.
We went here because of the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, we had COLIN and VOLAILLE and we finished every last bite. The cooking was of a very high refined quality, but still traditional. As I...explained to the owner, this was the meal I had been looking forward to all week. Our kids has 2 excellent pizzas. Portions of everything were huge. If you have the HARENG for starter for example, they give you a large container of fillets and you eat as much as you want. We also appreciated the owner's advice on the wine, he did not think the one we had chosen went well with our choice of food so he recommended a different one, much to our delight. The only downside was the lack of atmosphere as there were only 2 other customers the when time we were there. This is hard to understand given the quality of the food. We also felt that the lighting was far too bright. To get to the toilets you have to go outside and in another door, which is a little bizarre. The toilets had no running water which was not what we expected. If it were only the food I was ranking I would give it five stars, but restaurants are more than just food, so I had to take away one star for the reasons outlined above.More
We had 5 of the the takeaway pizzaes from Chez Lizza and they were really good !
And the prize is really good .
We will be back, and then try to sit down in the restaurant . The place looks intimate and really cosy...👍More
Chez Lizza is more than a pizzeria. They serve local dishes as well and their foie gras was absolutely fabulous. The chef gives you quite some personal attention, bit too much according our taste. The restaurant is quite small, looks bigger from the pictures. The...dessert was reasonable but slightly disappointing detail was that they forgot to take the cardboard off from below which raised the impression it was bought outside in stead of made in 'artisan' way like they promoted. All in all, good food and good quality, but a bit too much presence of the chef.More
Stopped for a late lunch and had a wonderful, and filling meal. Duck in a forestiere (mushroom) sauce with truffle - so so good. Then a giant portion of chocolate mousse which I had to share with my husband! The house wine was lush.
Dropped in on a Saturday when really hungry. Had a long wait to be noticed with a drink. Eventually got to order but again had a long wait for any food. Ordered from the menu but would try a pizza if we went again. Overall...a disappointing experience.More
