Lambs fry and bacon the very best I have had. Staff and ambience very good. If you are looking for a good restaurant at very reasonable prices, look no further.
We often have lunch at Grenny’s when holidaying in the area and it continues to serve good meals and even better prices. Calamari and chips is our go to and I was very pleased to find out that they have 2 fryers with one being...dedicated to gluten free frying. That is always good to hear when you’re a coeliac. The calamari was tender and the chips nice and thick (not fries). Thanks.More
Excellent freshly prepared food Really enjoyed the experience Good value for money. One of the best meals we’ve had in Noosa during our three week visit
I ordered Pasta Marinara- apart from the prawns (3), it was difficult to find the seafood as the sauce was a heavy creamy tomato concoction that contained celery. Very disappointing
Ordered chicken laguna. Beautifully presented with broccolini and carrots. Service excellent. A most enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. .
On previous visits to Noosa, Grenny's was a go to for seafood. Last night's experience has killed that idea. I ordered one of thier signature dishes,"Seafood Marseilles", which featured Morton Bay Bug tails. The Bug tails and other seafood on top of the dish were...dried out. Onmentioning this to the waiter when he asked about our food, the response was,"Maybe you took too long over your entrees and this dish was under the warming lights for too long". This shows two important points:- 1 A complete lack of respect in the kitchen for valuable seafood. 2 A complete lack of teamwork between front of house and the kitchen. Never going back.More
Called in at lunch time, very busy restaurant but in no time they found us a table. Lovely young lady taking the orders. I had the lambs brains done in breadcrumbs with bacon and they came with broccoli, beans and carrots and a side serve...of onion gravy. Everything on the plate , which was a generous serving, was cooked to perfection (nice to have vegetables cooked properly) and came out hot. My wife had the vegetable pasta which she really enjoyed although she couldn't eat the lot as the serving was too generous. Waiting time for the meal was about 20 minutes which was quite good as they were very busy. BYO wine is allowed Monday to Thursday. Will certainly go to this restaurant again.More
We have dined at Grenny’s Restaurant many times over the years! Unfortunately tonight it didn’t totally live up to our expectations! Our shared entree of Oysters Kilpatrick was nice, but oysters were not quite cooked! I had the Seafood Chowder, which was quite delicious…made a...little different on tomatoes, rather than a creamy liquid! My husband had the Seafood Marseille, which he was very much looking forward to eating. Unfortunately, though it was not in the menu as being a highly spiced meal…my husband could hardly eat any of it. He could not taste the seafood, as whatever it was cooked in was so hot, he could hardly feel his lips! We did speak to the person, who was either the owner or manager about this meal. He said that there was no chilli in the meal, but there was obviously other highly sliced ingredients! Apart from my husband not having a meal to eat tonight, the person we spoke to, offered no apology. His suggestion was that maybe we needed to add some cream or tomatoes, so that it could be eaten if we were going to take it home! This matter was dealt with at the time, as it is no use just complaining about it later. It just wasn’t dealt with in a manner, that looked after the client!More
Dear, Customee, thank you for visiting us, sorry for your experience, its clearly written in menu as chilli is one of the ingridents,, for the same food somebody complaint about not having enough chilli,,, end of the day we try make everybody happy but we...More
Excellent menu, well priced for the area. Staff are attentive and accomodating, with friendly attitude. Our regular morning coffee-and-cake stop, and we have also been there for brunch and lunch. Vegetarian options, but specialising in seafood. Thoroughly recommend.
Our Winter relocation is not complete without a visit (or two) to Grenny’s. We have always had an excellent meal and wonderful service. The sea-water prawn pacific oysters are out of this world and the Bug Filo never disappoints. Just love this restaurant
Really enjoyed the seafood platter today Was amazing and fresh Octopus was cooked amazingly Fresh fruit was sweet
Great location, best lambs fry in Australia. Menu is fantastic all your old favourites including seafood chowder, duckling, seafood platter. Huge breakfast menu.
It was over two years since we had been in Noosaville & dined at Grennys . We were aware of a new owner so were keen to see if it was as wonderful as previously . We were so happy to find the same menu,...quality of the food & service, as previously . Congratulations to the new owner, chef & staff . We will be back .More
We ordered coffees and açai bowls and the waiter was friendly enough. The coffee tasted like hot milk. I could not taste the coffee at all so couldn’t even finish drinking it. The açai bowls were very runny and had no taste at all, not...like a proper açai bowl should be. I’m not sure about the other items on the menu but don’t come here if you want a good coffee or açai! Extremely disappointed on our first morning in Noosa. I hope this cafe takes the feedback, actually tastes the items on their menu and improves these items for customers’ sake.More
