I had heard lots of good things about this resto of Fundacion so I insisted that a lunch there be included as part of our tour itinerary. The place was very picturesque with a very European vibe and a great view of the hills of...Batanes. The food was innovative and wonderful providing modern twists to local ingredients. The food was so good we decided to rent a car so we could go back for dinner on our last night in Basco. Kudos to Kaiae (I hope I spelled her name right) who served us on both occasions and made wonderful recommendations on what we should order.More

We stayed at the Fundacion for 2 weeks and ate here for breakfast everyday and for the evening meal 12 times. Consequently we were able to try most items on the menu, a few on several occasions. We didn’t have any disappointments. Everything was really...very good. The food was really tasty and well presented and the staff were so friendly - they really made the restaurant very special in my viewMore

Amazing view. Very relaxing ambience. Food is good. Never thought I would like eating snails. Recommend calling before coming to the restaurant :)

My family and I went here for lunch the day before we head back to Manila. It was quite a walk from where the tricycle dropped us, but it was all worth it. The place has the most stunning view, very quite, relaxing and romantic....Food was nice too! A must try place when in BatanesMore

This place have a picturesque setting. The cafe’s interior is also very charming. Food is average but the service is very slow and lucky if you get what you order.

The place is near Fundacion Pacita. There's a lot of spots that you can take a picture while waiting for your food. There's gallery down the cafe and you can see beautiful view outside. Food is pricey but worth it.

I always wanted to check in at Fundacion Pacita but its way past budget so this is another option. Meals are for semi fine dining, it's flavorful and filling. You need to secure a table though to be sure you get a good spot.

Food is pricey but if you’re going to splu neerge for a special event, I’d say it’s worth every centavo. We went on NY’s eve and ordered both their set meals and ala carte from the menu. We liked their Onion Soup, All- Meat Pizza...and Chocolate Mousse! Salad and the fish dish were also great...Needless to say the view added immensely to the ambienceMore

With their farm to table offering, everything is sourced locally, boosting the livelihood and celebrating the authenticity of the local community. Its Manila-price point might be a little deal breaker for some but given then quality and proceeds, overall its worth it.

The food is not bad. But its a little too expensive. The staffs need more training. They are easily rattled or overwhelmed. Great scenic view but still a little too expensive for the price and takes 30-45 minutes to prepare

We had our dinner in this very elegant and romantic restaurant... The scenery on its surroundings is very captivating... A very stylish work of art and architecture...we came before sunset so we are able to feast our eyes on its surroundings, and the art gallery...beneath the restaurant... The food is delicious and the staff is so accomodating...More

The views alone are enough to visit, but the unique local menu seals the deal. We only visited due to having people on our tour bus stay here and recommend. Thanks for the tip, probably the best place we ate while in Batanes.

Well some says that this place is little bit pricey but honestly it's not and honestly this cafe this place I would say one of the best place me and my husband eaten. I'm totally proud of this cafe because this place could give you...high end of food but still they used local products from their farmer/s. One of their best/my most favorite is their steaks and their pumpkin toast especially their bacon OMG it will melt you away when you tried it. To all homemade steaks and bacon I ever taste they have the best. I just wish they could also shared it not only nationwide but over the world.More

Now this is not about their food, which was so healthy i lost weight in the three days we ate there. No Kidding. Healthy organic, not oily etc. Neither is it about the ambience, which was perfect, by the way. Its about a very pleasant...surprise we discovered, courtesy of the trike driver who drove us around for two days. Now imagine staying at Fundacion Pacita for three straight days, and dining at Cafe du Tukon every morning for breakfast, almost every afternoon for their free snacks, every night for dinner, and not knowing that there is an art gallery below it! Seriously! And no one breathed even a word to us; although in hindsight, we also have not asked. I ended up purchasing two paintings by local artists, as souvenir gift to self, of my Batanes trip! Yey! Thanks to Kuya Roland (CP#09183803141). You may ask him to drive u around in his cogon trike whenever u find yourself in Batanes!More
