We went to dinner with a good friend of ours who lives in Canale. The Enoteca is definitely a place for special occasions. We had the tasting menu, which was great, but probably too much for me to do again. I am an American and...it was too much food. They have a shorter tasting menu, which I will do next time. Everything was delicious, all made from local produce. The wine list is outstanding and reasonably priced. The chef is extremely talented and greeted all the guests as they came in. It is a great place for a special event, but a little pricy when you consider all the great alternatives in Piemonte.More

We had a confusing meal with some good dishes and some less good. We had ordered the “surprise” menu, with paring wines. We really struggled trying to understand the chef’s philosophy....

Easy to become blasé with regard to the excellent quality Piedmont cooking can offer but this meal was a step up from the norm and I would highly recommend. Elegant surroundings rather than grand but excellent service and attention to the dishes is what stands...out. The meal is not cheap but inexpensive for the quality that is served. An extensive wine list does have high value offerings but also extremely modest bottles to compliment the meal too.More

We have attanded this restaurant because the bistro downstairs was fully booked. We were lucky that we got a seats evened that we had not made a reservation. When we were seated we were the only guests in the dining room. However within some 30...minutes the place was completely full. So if you want to go you rather make a reservation, particularly on busy day, such as Friday and Saturday. First of all I must say that the serving staff was very nice and attentive, they know what they are doing and are real professionals. At the beginning they came up with a selection of some 6 small starters. Wow, they were all so delicious!. I then had a steak and it was one of the best steaks I had for some quite a long time. The meat was so tender, like a butter. And the taste a bit smoky from the grill. Accompanied with some delicious sauce (I would love if it was more of this ... :-)) and lovely selcetion of grilled vegetables. Desert - special home made ice-cream was a nice final of the very special and memorable evening. Thank you for that! If you search for a place for a special event., this is the best place to go!More

The staff were all, as expected, ultimate professionals and our limited Italian was no issue. We sat outside on a balmy night which was lovely. From the snacks at the start to the post dessert snack trolley every mouthful was amazing. This was our favourite...restaurant so far. The serves were generous and you definitely will leave satisfied.More

Very nice rooms and interiour, sober. The food is great and the service top. Very good wine list. Moderate priced (65 euro per person, all included). Absolutely worth a visit. See all pictures and comments.
