Great Pub Atmosphere Called for quick drink before meeting family. Lovely pub very friendly and great bar staff. Ending up having a few cocktails made by Jack. Food passing us looked fab so next will be booking a table very soon.

We had a lovely lunch yesterday consisting of two lovely fish and chips and ham egg and chips. The desserts were lovely except for the panacotta which was not completely set so a bit watery at the bottom. The beers were lovely. The only complaint...I have is when I got home and looked at the bill receipt i noticed the price of the blackcurrant and soda water which was £2.85 for half a pint. £1.00 for the cordial and £1.85 for soda water is ridiculousMore

Thank you for all your positive feedback in regards to your meal with ourselves yesterday. With regards to your bill I am unsure on why you've been charged £1.85 as a mixer would considered to be a tonic water which would be a bottled drink...More

Friendly staff , warm welcome , lovingly restored pub . My friend and myself both opted for Beef stew and dumplings .. light bites. The stew certainly didn't disappoint, it was absolutely delicious, served with crusty bread and butter .. the portion size was very...generous indeed.More

Our food was lovely, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Got 10% off the bill too if you ate before 4pm which was an added bonus. Will definitely be returning

The building is lovely inside and during the refurbishment many of the original features have been retained including the Victorian range. The staff are welcoming and it was busy when we arrived. The menu isn’t too extensive and is just right. My food of pie...of the day was ample and very nice.More

Just ate here tonight. Lovely service, lovely atmosphere. I had the chicken burger, which was taken to a new level, and my wife had the slow cooked shin of beef which was amazing. 3rd time we have eaten there and will happily recommend as you...can actually tell the food is cooked by a chef, who can cook and cares about the food, well done all at the Dog and Pickle, and thank you for a lovely eveningMore

Welcoming staff provided an efficient, friendly service. We all had roast pork loin - beautifully cooked with 5 different deliciously cooked vegetables and all the trimmings. If we didn’t live in London we’d be booking in for Christmas dinner.

Just had a lovely lunch at the Dog & Pickle. Often we forget to say how good things are so I thought I’d share the experience with those who may not have been. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. We decided on a...bit of a random mix as it was lunchtime but we didn’t feel like sandwiches. We had soup and a selection of nibbles (honey mustard chipolatas, Asian vegetable dumplings and salt and pepper squid). It was like world wide tapas! Many thanks to staff No 001 😉, you were fab. We’ll definitely be back.More
