Ordered the full price fish and chips and was so disappointed with the chips. They were dark brown soggy and some were raw , how does that happen?

There is The Cheshire Cat Vintage Inn which has rooms and is about a 10minute walk or there is a B & B in Waverton which would be a 35 minute walk. A taxi from Waverton to the pub would be about £5
