Went for dinner. Warmly welcomed and enough English speaking staff to help out. Not sure if the vegetarian options were truly vegetarian as there may have been some fish dashi, but that is common in Japan so you have to decide how strict you want...More

Loved this place! Get ready to take your shoes off, sit in the floor and learn to cook! The food was great and the experience was even better!

It was pretty good indeed ! However after i ate an okonomyaki in osaka, i realize that their okonomyaki are really basic and not really copious (and pretty expensive for what you get) The interesting part is that you do your okonomyaki yourself ! The...More

Fantastic and delicious okonomiyaki in Kamakura. The staff is unbelievably friendly! I highly recommend to other Western tourists seeking an authentic, tasty meal in the area.

This shop is an absolute gem! We really enjoy the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. You can cook your own food which is quite fun. The owner has definitely put in a lot of effort in the deco. Loving the traditional atmosphere and tatami-style...More

Sometaro serves traditional food in a traditional setting. The restaurant was humble yet atmospheric. There’s the freedom to cook and season your own meal.

Our Venture tour guide Ayaka suggested this restaurant as the best Okonomiyaki in Tokyo and boy was she spot on. The whole experience of it being prepared and cooked right in front of you made this along with the taste and flavours a meal to...More

Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping

Hi, they’re made with egg but I cannot tell if there is eggless option. I’d say no, to be honest (looking at the menu) but maybe there are some hidden options.
