Grill your own meal...this restaurant has many tables with charcoal grills cut into the tables. There is an English menu available to select what you would like grilled - mostly a la carte. There are about a dozen cuts of beef, along with chicken, pork, and sausage (tastes like hot dog) to choose from and the meal starts at about... More

Fancied trying some wagyu beef whilst in Japan and were not disappointed here. BBQ at your table, order your meats and away you go, had 2 x beef, chicken and veg. Beef was out of this world, so tasty it disappears in the mouth. Should have wasted our time time with chicken and veg, had more beef.... it was a... More

First night arriving in Shinjuku with my wife and we decided to try some BBQ place that has wagyu beef. This was the closest to the hotel so we decided why not. First off, this place isn't that easy to find. I am not even sure if this is the same place we went to, but it had the same... More

Outstanding meal in a place that you could walk right by without even noticing. The beef and service were excellent with my only complaint being that it was required that each table get a giant bowl of chopped cabbage for 500 yen per person. Highly recommended!

Was enjoying wandering around the area, and decided to eat - difficult choice when you don't know a place - and had forgotten to look up reviews). Found this place, and would highly recommend. We had a couple of types of beef and pork. Recommend you go for the more expensive beef - really worth it as lovely and tender.... More

Excellent meat, but was most blown away by the CHIJIMI savoury pancake. We had the "black hole chijimi", but I think they are all cooked the same way, moist and tasty on the inside but super crispy on the outside and super filling and so excellent value. I liked the decor and seating and the young staff were good fun... More

The place itself didn't seem so appealing at first to me and my girlfriend. We aren't "party-goers" you see, and the place is in the middle of Kabuki-cho, which has a lot of bars and clubs. It seemed kind of hidden in an alley but we wanted to try that kind of restaurant since we were in Japan. I am... More

We stumbled across this place as we were looking for a restaurant to eat in and it was very good! We had previously had wagyu beef in Kobe so we knew what it taste like. They offer an English menu (but only with their most popular items and not everything from the Japanese menu is on there). I read a... More

We had a party of 8 and it was the only yakiniku restaurant that could take us at short notice. Food was decent and I would not rate it as high as other reviewers only because I've had much better elsewhere in Japan. Be prepared to pay 500 Yen per adult for cabbage and a minimum requirement for one drink... More

We ordered the set menu of Wagyu beef, was Y4500 per person, however, this came with 3 types of beef, chicken and pork, plenty of food and included a drink (incl beer or wine). Super tender beef along with the restaurants own sauces made for a great meal.

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household.
