We had a group meal in a private room. It was something like seven courses, and many courses were composed of five or six tiny sub-courses, each exquisitely designed. The food looked beautiful and did not disappoint when you tasted it. Service as very attentive....More

We dined in one of the Japanese private rooms. Wonderful view and the overall set-up was gorgeous. They really care that you have a good time and go to great lengths to explain everything. The food is simply off the charts. The creativity and freshness...More

(View attached pictures) This was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life. They did not really have any vegan options to begin with, so I went with their grilled vegetables dish. When the waitress brought this dish to me, I literally sat...More

Our first meal in Tokyo this trip, and what a fabulous one it was. Such a clever play with light, subtle flavors. We chose the Mai menu and enjoyed items like seaweed dumplings with bamboo shoots, a tofu dish that tasted like a rich cream...More

Broad night view of Tokyo to the west from a posh hotel near the Imperial palace, and exquisite kaiseki presentations, refined saké list. Go with someone who knows what to order or rely on the chef's recommendations. (Western-style tables in the main dining area.) At...More

This is a wonderful place to go to for a quiet business lunch. The fare was traditional Japanese, no menus, just eat what you get. It's a very exclusive place to have lunch. You're surrounded by splendor in a very nice hotel.

A classic Japanese multi courses meal. Seating is quite ordinary, but fairly cosy/not massive, food is top quality, as you may expect in a traditional Japanese restaurant.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
