There food are tasty and good. The staff are accomodating and very friendly. I like the ambiance because it so clean and peaceful.

We just need a cafe to stay while waiting for our fastcraft. Ideally located, their coffee and cakes are A plus. Friendly staff and it feels homey.

I found this little cafe via tripadvisor and the reviews on here were mixed and on google however i was hungry and the idea of good cake was too much to pass down.
I found the staff extremely pleasant, i ordered the italian chicken and it was tasty (maybe some more filling but its the Philippines its the norm for not huge portion sizes!) Anyway, it gave room for the cake 😍
We had the carrot cake and sweet revenge. I would FULLY recommend sweet revenge, it is just 👌🏻
Coffee from the coffee expert (my partner) is a 7/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The vibe is cute and there is an upstairs but it was late lunch and nlt super busy when we went so wasn't open.
The wifi is super fast which is a massive bonus. There is a voucher and time limit though obviously to keep it speedy 🙂
I suggest you give it a try, i found it pleasant and not like the negative reviews i read. Super cute, hope this helps 🙂 X

Food is good, that's a fact. The bad thing is the service. We asked for 2 pieces of cinnamon twist served first (before our main course) as we were already hungry.
First, they forgot. Second, it took them 20 minutes to do it that I have to go to the counter to bring it myself. Third, there is no sign of remorse that they did not serve it as requested.
I will come here again of course, but they better improve the service.

Its been some time since my last visit to tagbilaran and this was a very good surprise!
Inside sweet home hotel/suites, this is a very nicely decorated cafe.
Food was ok even if they missed a cake order.
Crew was courteous and very helpful even as we asked directions for restaurants.
The wine selection was huge for a cafe.
Wifi was good.
Highly recommended!

Came here for an easy Saturday lunch. Downstairs seating was full- so after we ordered we were shown upstairs which was empty and quiet! Food was served quickly and was perfectly cooked. Service was fast and friendly and we ended up taking away the delicious cakes. Really enjoyed.

I love coffee and I make it a habit to check out local coffee shops during long distance trips. I was on a business trip when I visited this place, so I need my coffee fix after a tiring day. The shop was a little over a kilometer away from my hotel, but I'm going to ingest a plate of sugar (insert new york cheesecake) so I thought I needed the walk anyway. After having dinner, at around 9pm, I went there on foot. It was a long walk. So long that it turned my hot cup of coffee into a cold mocha fudge.
The price was competitive, but the experience was nice. The ambience was decent. I had the ever reliable ny cheesecake, and it was a treat. So was the mocha fudge. The nightcap was worth the long walk.
Good place to have a drink.
Overall = 3/5

My Crunchy Chicken Sesame inverted wings served with rice, salad (lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber with a good tasting dressing) and dip was tender and crunchy indeed! Needless to say, it’s quite satisfying and filling. My lychee iced tea is good although the tall glass was 2/3 full.
My husband gave his Italian Chicken Sandwich a 10 out of 10 although the chicken is one thin slice.
High-ceilinged, this Cafe has nice decor, furnishings and offers delectable looking variety of desserts with nice staff. It also sells baguettes, several kinds of bread, water, cans of coke and sprite.
I would not have opportunities to try their “ube” (purple potato specie) with a layer of flan on top and mango cake with the rest of the choices that all look appetizing not only because of weight gain concerns but also due to the limited dinners we could have here.

Ordered iced coffee which was all sugar! Americano was bland. The crew was nice but the policy of charging customers 100pesos for charging their phones is so outdated!
Hello almost all cafes/restaurants now has even usb slots on the table so customers can charge their phones while eating.
The management was too focused to rake in more money.

We decided to make our thesis here and to my surprise their new staff made the experience, our worst. The cashier was not accommodating. We asked if we could ask for another WiFi voucher because the one she gave us was invalid, she then replied in a very ill mannered way saying that their WiFi is broken. Based on experience, their vouchers expire after an hour used or unused. My companion also asked her if there are more selections on stock and she then raised her voice saying everything is on display. They also forgot to serve service water and the cake they served was not sliced properly. When we entered, a lot of tables were left uncleaned even if there are very many employees inside the cafe. This might be the reason why we are never going back there. Their service is very ugly now that they changed their employees.

We came here with our 3 year old son for breakfast (based on the experiences on TA) but we unfortunately had a horrible experience. The waiter at the counter was very unfriendly and demanding to see our voucher (it’s basically all hotel guests that take their breakfast here) We ordered our coffee and breakfast (all with macaroni salad and French fries...) and asked for cold chocolate milk and a peanut butter (or Nutella) sandwich for our boy. They didn’t have cold chocolate milk and no peanut butter. Then we ordered toast with butter and a glass of milk for him. The toast arrived 10 minutes after we got our sandwiches and the milk never came... The toast was served with an open and used cup of butter!!!! When we asked for a new one, they were not amused and maybe you can guess already: it never made to our table. Over all a bad experience, although the sandwich ham & cheese was good! The cakes also looked nice.

I spend a lot of time around Manila and what I miss about home is a decent slice of bread and a proper cake. This coffee shop serves tasty bread and amazing cake. I have noticed in other reviews that people complain about the price but I compare prices with those in Europe as this is European food and this food is much cheaper and of comparable quality. Comparing it to Filipino food prices, just isnt fair.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I had the worst cheese toastie/sandwich I have ever had. There was very little cheese and it was so overcooked that it didn't really taste of anything anymore.
I also tried the coffee and cakes, which were really good.
Come here for an afternoon treat, not a snack.

Always a good experience at Sweet Home Cafe. Comfortable seating, interesting decor, prompt Curtiss service and the food is delicious from their shakes to their sandwiches. There are several places I would lean to give five points, stars, bullets or whatever tripadvisor calls their "good o'meter" however I want to reserve that for someplace that is truly, completely and so mind boggling awesome all the time. I don't think I will find a place like that this side of heaven.
