Went to Baclayon, Bohol at 3pm yesterday and had some snacks at Crescencia Cafe located in a wonderful heritage house that featured vernacular architecture. Tables were made from bed frames, doors, cabinet doors, windows, etc...and old wicker chairs. Great conversation pieces as we went around...the quaint resto. Place is a must see and food is a must try: ube biko (really tapol) with  shredded bucayo and coconut; mango apa (crepe) but with a pancake texture drizzled with honey; and puto maya with bucayo and mango slices. Of course, we had tsokolate (unsweetened as requested). Yum 😋More

Having Valentine's Day festivities with my family. Both the food and the service were excellent! The buffet dinner had a lot of options. We arrived here to walk in. Authentic Filipino cuisine is what you should seek out. You must attempt this. They have a...parking area and a playground. My friends are now hearing about the restaurant from me.More

This restaurant have 3 different branches all over Tagbilaran and Panglao. Maybe more. I’ve been to 3 different ones. The food is great and the service is pretty good. It’s on a higher end for filipino food but still affordable.

We struggled to find good local food in the Philippines. But the food at Gerarda's was delish! We didn't recognise a lot of the names on the menu so the waiter was really helpful and described them all for us. We had a couple of...vegetarians and there was lots for them to choose from too. Unfortunately i can't remember the dishes names... but we ordered a couple to try between us and they were all lovely. We were worried on arrival that the menu was going to be out of our price range as the menu restaurant is pretty fancy - but the prices were very reasonable and worth every penny! It is a family run restaurant and the staff were all very welcoming. A dish was ordered that we didn't realize had sea food in, but they were happy to replace it free of charge which was lovely!More

It could have been the food choices I made but sadly it wasn't really that impression just average really. 2 of us had the mango floats and they didn't taste very fresh at all. Was hoping it would be really nice based on the reviews...but I wouldn't return here sadlyMore

I've been passing up the chance to try Gerarda's since arriving in Bohol, since I notice family and big groups going in for dinner...I mistakenly judged, "fancy place for tourists, lame Filipino food, pricey, etc". In 1 visit last week ALL THAT impressions changed, and...now...I go there with a friend or two for home-cooked dinner, cozy and warm ambiance, gracious service of guard, crew, cooks. Gerarda's is MY Place!!! Come to Bohol, don't pass up Gerarda's. Don't make my mistake...More

Originally, Gerarda's started out as an old ancestral house on J.S. Torralba Street that was turned into a restaurant. Today, Gerarda's has 3 branches: the main one at their first location, another branch on CPG Avenue, and one in Panglao. I had dinner with my...friend at the second location called Gerarda's Dos. The food was excellent. We started with the Seafood Kare Kare. The broth was very tasty, nutty, and well seasoned. The assorted seafoods which included Squid, Shrimp, Fish, and Crabs, were tender and perfectly cooked. The veggies were also tender. All of the components gave the dish multiple levels of textures and flavors. The Herb and Spiced Chicken was delicious. Crispy fried coating and skin on the outside. Tender, succulent, juicy meat on the inside. Perfectly seasoned. The Pinakbet (*a native mixed vegetables dish) was also very tasty. The vegetables were firm but cooked perfectly. Well seasoned. Excellent texture. The shrimp and thin slices of pork were tender and delicious. The Crispy Shrimps were scrumptious and lived up to its name. Perfectly seasoned, crispy shrimp. Nice crunch. For dessert, we had the Leche Flan. It was delicious, rich, creamy, and sinfully decadent. The perfect way to end a very sumptuous meal. Very chill ambiance. Simple yet elegant. The atmosphere is homey and cozy. Perfect for romantic dinners for two, family gatherings, or business dinners. Vegan friendly. Family friendly. Kid friendly. The staff was excellent. They were warm, courteous, attentive, and accommodating. The service was excellent. Prices are reasonable. Real authentic native Filipino fine dining cuisine. More delicious menu items are also available. I highly recommend this place to all of my friends and followers. 5 Stars out of 5 Stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s!!!More

Perhaps it is the best restaurant in Bohol, very possible, and it is very good, just not an excellent one. Waiters may forget orders and the garlic rice may have little garlic in it. And not all the dishes they recommend will be superb. Yet...it is good.More
