Tamarind Restaurant is a cozy and heartwarming restaurant located on Sabang Beach in Puerto Galera, Mindoro. The restaurant offers a great view of the beach and has a warm ambiance with great lighting. The staff, especially Princess, Belle, Angelica, and Avic are very friendly and excellent at welcoming guests and meeting their expectations. We truly enjoyed our dining experience because them!

This restaurant has been the very first place in 7 weeks of travelling around the Philippines that has come to me and ask how things are with my meal, what else I'd like. Angelica, and Belle, have been AMAZING!!!. The food is also very tasty. If you love meat like I do, this Island Has also been the only one who offer the best of the best in Steaks. Come here when you are on puerto Galera Sabang, Mindoro. Come eat, come stay, come enjoy.

Very good meat. I had the beef fillet with rösti. I ordered it rare and got it really rare. The quality was very good, the taste and preparation top! Tourist trap, cheater staff very expensive and they adding Money to the bill it's two time's I've been eating here. Ribeye is not good, it's very chewy lots of fats. Very rude staff the one that has braces, terrible service always saying wait, but never come back.

During our one week stay on the island. She we went here 6x. Every time a different dish from pasta to rib eye. (Fish not eaten, so no know if this is good) Everything was tasty and the meat is fried on the bbq ❤️

Our dinners at Tamarind have always been perfect. The staff are very friendly, and the food is excellent. Belle, Care, Angelica, Avic, Eric, and Andy as well as all the kitchen staff, always make sure we are happy. We will keep going back to Tamarind in Sabang.

A mix of Filipino and Western fusion. The small restaurant is just in front of Sabang bay town. And just beside the boardwalks. The staff were okay just need to be more attentive, flexible and kind. Waiting for the food is a bit long. But the food is still good. Just another restaurant to visit if you’re in Puerto Galera.

The ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy and heart warming. It has a great view to just watch the movement outside accompanied by the great lighting. The food comes in a pretty good portion. The staff were very friendly and the food is well made.

We saw the Tamarind by walking by and decided to have dinner there, it looks nice. Wow, the Rib-eye steak was of excellent quality and the Gambas al Ajillo incredibly tasty. It was so good that we had dinner there every single evening of our 6 days stay. Even more to that, the staff is incredibly good and courteous. The waitresses are so nice and funny, it just gave the whole dinner experience an additional note. Very good atmosphere and stunning good meat quality. We can only recommend the Tamarind for their food and their excellent hospitality. Our appreciation to the staff, we had a blast with you girls. Thank you!
