Absolutely delicious galottes and crepes, and the service was very friendly. Superb, would visit again. The whole family loved the food and the view across the river is fantastic. We sat inside and the smell of savoury food was just delicious. A good drinks menu too
Had a meal at this venue, on the river bank. Really friendly staff, excellent food a bit of a hidden jewel to be honest. Reasonably priced, which is a bonus these days. A big thumbs up
Lovely location right by the River Rance. A warm welcome at a very busy lunchtime, friendly and efficient service and great galettes. Highly recommended. (Google translation of “Bords de Rance” is “rancid edges”. Don’t be put off.)
Had a really tasty lunch served in good humour by a very busy but attentive staff. The Classic burger was right up there with the best burgers I have had.
Our tour group from the Backroads cycling tour of Normandy and Brittany stopped for lunch here after our visit to Mont St. Michel. We had a large group and service was a bit strained. We started with buckwheat crepes which are not my favorite. The...quiche was pedestrian. The location on the river was perfect on a gorgeous day.More
Had a few meals here during our stay in Port Dinan. Beautiful location with excellent service. On top of the the food was so fresh and tasty. Recommend a visit. Need to time it right as table reservations were not available when we visited.
We visited for lunch, having seen it was a busy and in a good location but left very disappointed. The service was slow. When our lunch did arrive it was poor.In the end we gave up waiting to pay at our table and went inside...to find a waiter. We opted for 'Le Vege' Burger as Burgers seemed to be their speciality. What we got was essentially potato puree (mash) with slices of courgette in a bun, a sloppy mess. To be honest my husband and I thought it was the most bizarre version of a vege burger we had ever had and perhaps an afterthought to provide a vegetarian option. Two of the waiters had masks but for some reason chose to wear them under their chins as opposed to on their faces when taking orders from tables and serving at the bar making them pretty pointless.More
Visited for drinks and food on a sunny lunch time in August. Omelette and chips excellent, Galette very good too according to our friend.. Young staff are so friendly yet professional and able to have a bit of a joke with tourists which helps make...the place special. Food is better priced than over the water and you have the better view from this side :) If we are ever back in that part of the world we will be back Thanks to you all...More
Why eat on the north side of the river in Dinan when you get better value and better views sitting on the south side at Bords de Rance creperie
Me and my family visited this restaurant on many occasions, for food and drink. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was lovely and definitely worth multiple visits to sample all the delights. The cheese boards and great and the Galattes are amazing -...especially the one with goats cheese ice cream! The only place in dinan where you can sample a Cherry Chouffe! Definitely worth a visit, especially for the views along the river Rance!More
We stayed in Dinan Port for a week and visited here most days. The staff were so friendly and the chef came out each day to give our dogs some crepes. We ate here a few times ranging from a planche of cheese and meat...to crepes and galettes, and enjoyed it all. This is definitely the best spot to catch the evening sunshine and views over the river.More
Perfect setting for some dessert crepes. Ate outside sitting on the Rance river. Large selection on the menu. Good beer selection. Convenient location
Can't wait to get back. My go to place in Dinan. Excellent food and good company. See you guys soon :-)
This is the perfect place to spend a hour or so at lunchtime over a delicious gallette, with stunning riverside views of the Rance. The crepes are also outstanding.
