Galician cuisine. Fresher than fresh seafood.
Also serves great meat dishes.
The wine menu is outstanding.
Try to reserve a table at the windows so you can enjoy the view over the beach and bay where you can see the floating musselbanks.
We came to this restaurant in 2016 the last time we were in Galicia and on this road trip had to dine here . We came on a Sunday at 2pm without a reservation and got the last table , by 2.30 both large dining...rooms were full so booking is advisable. The views are fantastic and atmosphere really buzzy and enjoyable . We had a delightful huge fidua with clams to share and a bottle of Mar de Fredas Alborino, excellent food and drink at very reasonable and local prices.More
What more could you ask for during a short trip to the region? A simple room with balcony looking on to a beautiful beach which was quiet until a few families appeared after 5pm. This part of Galicia is spoilt for choice for pretty sandy...beaches and great seafood. This hotel was efficient, unpretentious and treated its food preparation seriously. There is mussel production going on locally and a wealth of fish to try. We had roast turbot with potatoes. We were able to park in their own car park. You can visit many interesting places from here if you’ve happened to discover this wonderful hidden part of Spain.More
We visited the place during a weeks stay in that part of Galicia specified on gastronomy. The location is excellent with stunning views over the Sea. The service is very good and the quality of all the dishes is excellent. This restaurant would recive 5...stars everywhere in the world. However when you compare it to similar places in this part if the world it makes it more pricey then other of similar quality. However still worth the visit and a in general excellent culinary experience. Well worth a visit. Recommended.More
Not a great experience overall despite some good food
Firstly some food came surprisingly quickly but we had to send back raw fillet of chicken as it was clearly undercooked. The waitress looked a bit shocked and it came back nicely cooked.
However I started...to wonder whether the kitchen could manage a seafood paella if they couldn't cook chicken properly first time round so I asked to cancel the seafood paella.
This did not go down very well and a head waiter came over and asked why. I explained and he wasn't particularly understanding with me implying that actually some people like their chicken undercooked and that I didn't know what I was talking about and that they couldn't stop the paella at this late stage. It made me feel very uncomfortable. He said however that it would be no problem at all if we didn't want the paella (it just didn't feel like it!)
In the end faced with the prospect of no food we relented and actually the paella was tasty.
Nonetheless a disagreeable experienceMore
Our visit was a disappointment, service was below average, the restaurant was understaffed and not everybody was hospitable. View was nice but the interior outdated. Food was okay but not sophisticated.
We stumbled across this lovely fish restaurant whilst driving from Vigo to Santiago via the Atlantic coast road . The views from the dining room across the bay are fantastic and the food matches it . We had Fideos con Almejas ( little noodles with...clams ) and the taste was amazing , it takes 30 minutes to cook and it is worth the wait , this restaurant is recommended in the Michelin guide and deservedly so , worth driving to .More
We did not have a reservation and went there by references of friends. Treat was friendly, service good, views excellent (we got a panoramic view table ) and food...delicious and very fairly priced
The restaurant shares the access with the hotel with the same name,...and they have a parking lot across the street- so don't get desperate with that !More

This region of Galicia is very good value (less than half London prices)for money because it is mostly locals eating here and few tourists, wine is exceptionally keenly priced . You MUST book in advance especially if you would like a window table which I would recommend. The food is of the highest quality and fresh .
