We were staying in the town but were frankly a bit sceptical of having dinner here, assuming it might be a bit ‘stuck up’, and very expensive. As it turned out we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Certainly, you will need to have fairly...deep pockets to enjoy a meal at this restaurant, but it will be worth it. The whole experience exudes class and restrained confidence. This establishment is housed on the first floor of a smart old building on the main square, accessed via lift or sweeping palatial staircase. The dining area is very elegant and although occupying a large floor space, the temptation to cram tables in has been resisted, so that you are not cheek-by-jowl with fellow diners - quite the opposite. All the courses were faultless. Indeed, personally speaking, this is the only restaurant I have ever been to where I was served amuse bouche, sorbet and petit-fours. The quality and variety of the latter, served upon a small wooden trellis, were quite outstanding. Although a little ‘stiff’ initially, the waiters mellowed – like their guests – as the evening wore on. Thoroughly recommended.More

Everything from the service to the wine to the food to the view was perfection. We have eaten at many Michelin star restaurants and Ristarante Scuderie could easily have a star, in my opinion. We were served 5 (yes 5!) amuse bouche with our glass...of sparking wine. My husband and I ordered the 4-course "From the Sea" selection and every dish was better than the next. The wine list was extensive and had an amazing selection from this wine-loving region. If you have a chance to visit Piedmont, I highly recommend dining here.More

I start by saying this place would deserve at least 1 or 2 stars Michelin. From Stunning location and atmosphere to excellent customer service, wine selection and divine food. Creative and beautifully presented dishes, from appetizer to mains and dessert. You won't be disappointed! Very...reasonable price for such good quality. Thank you again for such a perfect night! 😊More

Had dinner here and opted to order from the menu a 1er and 2di. I had the meat ravioli which was delicious and as main course the "fish fries". The fish fries were nothing special just fried pieces of fish and no sides. Lacks creativity....Were quite surprised not to find truffel options om the menu. Good wine list and attentive service. Liked the modern decor though it is corrected to the castle.More

We have stumbled upon this restaurant on a Sunday during lunch, after not having been able get a table in a different place. This was not a disappointment. Although, it may be a better choice for dinner than lunch, everything was perfect. All the dishes...and wine were excellent. Beware that they bring a plethora of compliments for appetizers and dessert.More

Our Hotel booked us here at the last minute and are we glad they did. When we arrived, we were ushered by our host up a beautiful flight of stairs to the main restaurant. Situated in a castle, I expected things to be old. Not...so...it was ultra modern with chic lighting and wall treatments. Our host was exceptional...helpful, talkative and attentive. He helped us with the wine selection from a vast listing (and did very well). The appetizers and mains were superb and beautifully presented. Overall, a BIG surprise and a place to go in the area for Michelin food and atmosphere without paying Michelin prices.More

I have been to this restaurant many times in the last years and always with guests from other countries. The location itself it’s just spectacular and the super high standard are a perfect seal for a great dinner. The chef prepare typical piemontese dishes adding...all the time a different note or a linch of his style. Once again.. just perfect. Fabrizio, the maitre, is the perfect fit to introduce and create the best pair possibile, combining food and wine.More

After a very lucky month visiting Michelin star restaurants we stumbled into this divine delicious hilltop venue and Scuderie shone brighter than many of the other rated dining experiences in terms of value, beauty and taste. Well worth the detour away from the city culinary...indulgent traps!More

This restaurant was chosen based on the recommendation of the owner at the Inn in which we were staying. My husband and I couldn't have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate my birthday. The service was attentive without being pretentious and the ambience had...a modern vibe to it. But the food is the real star, deliciously prepared and artistically presented. We were allowed to observe the chefs put the finishing touches on our dinner. This was done through three large round windows separating the dining room from the kitchen. The vegetable platter done three ways was a portrait on a plate and the foie gras appetizer were two of our favorites. But the real eye candy came at the end of the meal when we were served a Black Cherry dessert with a taste to match the look! Our server also helped us select a wine the paired well with our dinner as we were not familiar with many of the local wineries.More

The food was pretty good but this restaurant is trying to do too much. They give off a 5-star appearance at first but the service just wasn't up to the task. We had four different servers who never spoke to each other leading to a...very odd and inconsistent experience. Our wine was decanted and placed off our table but our server was absent for 20 minutes at a time and we never had a full glass. Took far too long for plates to be cleared. When we left we had to go into the coat room and find our own coats cause no one was to be found. All of this would be fine if this place presented itself as a casual restaurant. However they are trying hard to be a first class restaurant and are falling short. Risotto was great, the rest was just ok. They should just accept they are not a world class restaurant, and our expectations would have been met.More

We have been here sevaral times. Allways happy, never disappointed. The Food is great, both tasteful and looks delicious. If the Michelin inspecteurs og to Govone this restaurant would be given a star. Look at the pictures of the great dishes. The wine list is...very good and value for money. Last time we tasted Timorasso grape for first time. Martin from Martinetti. The service is top, very elegant and friendly. Higly recomended. The restaurant is in the old stable of the Castle, very Nice.More

We had an outstanding evening dining beneath the castle. The food and preparation were the best. The prices were reasonable given the quality and atmosphere. The service was great giving us the feel that we had our own private staff. We liked it so much...we returned later in the week! The wine pairings were an added bonus. I highly recommend.More
