I enjoy patronizing this restobar due to prime location, friendly staff/management and all around fun listennming to good music, and occassionally live DJ or bands. You'll won't regret it!!!

My Bamboo experience

A very pleasant restaurant-bar situated conveniently about 100 m from Alona beach and other family friendly establishments catering to adults as well. Great owners and staff. I highly recommend this business to newcomers and vacationers. An unforgetable experience.

The best place in Panglao

I have visited this place almost every day for a month. They have a really beautiful venue featuring various artworks. This place is great for both family visits and a romantic hangout. Different flavors of sheesha are available and honestly, the quality is better than...anywhere I tried it (and I tried it in different cities in the Philippines). They always have best music and on Thursdays you can request for your fav songs to be played. I saw other people's reviews about the animals here, but you have to be a really heartless person to complain about dogs asking for food. The whole island is full of homeless dogs, so if you don't have a soul or empathy just don't go to Bohol lol. The bathrooms are really clean, the staff and the owners are really friendly. The food is amazing, the owner checks the quality of the dishes on the menu and adjusts it so that it tastes authentic. You can choose from an extensive list of drinks and they are all good. This is the best place in Panglao and it's a MUST VISIT!More

Excellent

I had dinner at bamboo last night food was great and the service very very good. Ramley the waiter was exceptional.Good to see all the correct protocols, distancing mask,alcohol,contact tracing thing! Will be back for sure. Gina

Welcome return !

Fantastic to see Bamboo reopen after the lockdown! Great atmosphere and good people. Can recommend the Nasi Goreng and Pad Thai.

Def worth a visit for foodies and tourists

Tonight we tried some meals at Bamboo Place because of the high rating. My gf ordered some springrolls... Not tasteful.. We were afraid the rest was just as the rolls. But it rolled out differently. The salad. Amazing! Lovely fresh delightful Greek Salad, total refreshment....Me and my gf were so happy afterwards. Then the signature Bamboo Burger. The magical sauce really was something alien but so delicious. The beef itself was perfectly grilled, juicy! The desert was strange but okay! The vibe is really calm. There is a good bar and there is sisha. The staff was enthousiastic and friendly. As we are still in lockdown here we will eat there more often. Good food, good vibe, good place! The given tip was well-deserved!More

Simply don't miss out!

One of thr absolute best places for a night out in Alona. Food is delicious and affordable even tho it has more of a Western approach in the kitchen. Make sure to swing by enjoy both the food and The crew!

Great drinks

They have great drinks. I also tried their burger and it was okay. The place had a great atmosphere and there was a live band playing later in the evening

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere,

Rare to find really good salads in the Philippines and this place nailed it. It's obvious they only use quality ingredients, all the dishes were delicious and the drinks were fantastic. Staff/owners are really friendly and love music nights give it a really fun, chill...atmosphere. Everytime I'm in Panglao I always go here!More

Slow service, undercooked burger

Other comments about slow service are true... We were there at 2:30pm and the only customers, and it took over 20 minutes for a single burger to arrive. I dread to think how slow it would be if they were super busy! On second thought,...kinda wish our burger took an hour to make so that it had time to cook properly, LOL. We ordered an XXL ‘build your own’ burger to share, with all add-ons. As mentioned above, the beef patty was UNDERCOOKED & COLD!!! (See photo) The rest of the burger was average. Very messy to eat. Overall I would give the burger a 5/10 rating. Overall, our experience was average. Plenty of other awesome places to eat in the area.More
