Airy ambiance. Chill atmosphere. View of the pool , nature etc. A little long wait for food. But everything we ordered turned out right. From the chicken inasal, baked salmon , Thai meat and prawn , caesar salad and their wonderful desserts. Menu was quite extensive from local , Asian, and Western.
Their breakfast buffet was not as extensive as compared to nearby Henann , but it had a cozy and relaxed feel to it . Didn’t feel being rushed at all . Liked their breakfast room set up. Special requests for omelettes, iced coffee variants and even peanut butter can be provided. Great staff service overall. Nice thing is that their kitchen handles the room service of the resort as well .

Had a wonderful family dinner last night at Saffron in Amorita Resort, Panglao Bohol. We were a big group of 11 pax and all the food we ordered was excellent. The cocktails were refreshing too! Special shout out to our lovely and super efficient server and photographer INAH who took such good care of our big party. And PAPZ the bartender kept wowing us with the yummy cocktails that were on a Buy 1 Take 1 Promo. The restaurant is also very Senior Citizen and Wheelchair friendly. Saffron is a definite highlight of this Bohol family trip.

Staff was very attentive. Facilities were OK but a bit dark at night, the place could use a bit more light. Be careful also of mosquitoes, so make sure you're seated near the fan.
Ordered a shrimp kebab and it was quite small and overpriced. The canoli was okay. Got the buy 1 take 1 cocktail and it was okay for the deal.

I'm compelled to write this review so others will not make the same mistake we did.
We were looking forward to our dinner reservation here as it looks very promising on their website. We were a very big group so we made reservation days in advance. When we arrived, the table was ready for us. After 15-20 minutes of going back and forth, we finally finalized our orders. Now granted we were a big group, it doesn't excuse that some dishes came out very late. Half of the orders arrived 20-25 minutes later than the other half. By the time we ate, some people's dishes were already cold.
My order was the Pappardelle with shrimp and calamari and grilled shrimp. For a restaurant that's supposedly in a 5-star resort, I expected a little better quality. First of all, the pasta portion was very small, it was very bland, some of the shrimps were not fresh anymore and the pappardelle were clumping to each other. So of course, the clumping pasta were hard, unevenly cook. I understand if you're a rookie cook but for a restaurant in this resort, with expensive prices, you would think that that will not pass the quality control. The grilled shrimp were 4 tiny shrimp on a kebab and that's Php 400! I'll be embarrass if I'm the F&B Director in this place.
The other dishes are just not at par. It's either very small for the price or bland or ordinary. I wish we didn't come here. We just wasted our money. For the amount we spent, we could have had a better dinner experience somewhere else.

I decided to dine here on two occasions. It was handy too, considering I was staying at the hotel on the restaurant site. In my review of the Amorita I couldn't say enough good about the resort in general. It's just that Saffron lets the whole place down a bit. I was somewhat underwhelmed by what was on offer. The buffet night was good, but not great. My a-la-carte evening was very disappointing. To finish on a positive note though. Breakfast here was very good.

Very nice food. Service is amazing. We stayed at the Amorita Resort so had the luxury of eating here when we wanted. We enjoyed the fact that they had daily special board with some new menus daily on it.
Drinks were excellent as well. The view is amazing.

I love and value my every visit to this restaurant. The staff are always the best.
My only hang up is the food portions. They are too big thus becomes pricy.

Its a great experience. Delicious foods and service., very welcoming. I love their pizza and while èating you can enjoy the good scenery of the beach and mountains. The atmosphere is chill and cool.

Stayed at Amorita. Included is breakfast buffet at Saffron. I'm very much pleased with how the fried rice was cooked (did not look or taste like the rice was from 5 days ago). Pineapple slices were very sweet! Enjoyed the dried fish and dried squid. Buffet also had preserved meats and imported cheese.
I had a very late lunch today at almost 4pm. Tried the highly-recommended sinigang. Did not disappoint. Soup is thick. Pork slices were marinated in lemon sauce. Truly special!
The best thing about this place is that service is excellent, matched only by the scenic view of the beach. Must try!
