We really enjoyed the dinner, the starters, the main and the salad were amazing, delicious and very filling! One of the nicest and tastiest places on the island. You can say that the service was a little slow but only because the place was full...and there were people who also waited in line for quite some time (around 20:00). It is better to book in advance if it is during peak hours. The prices are completely reasonable for what you get. We ordered 4 dishes and beers and it came out around 1605₱.More
We really enjoyed the patatas bravas and the seafood paella, which had a lot of seafood inside. The restaurant itself is pretty and cozy and the staff was friendly. However, portions could have been a bit bigger as prices are not super cheap.
We came here as Trip Advisor states that there were vegan options which I was super excited about as this is not very typical of a Spanish restaurant. When arriving and looking through the menu, there was no vegan options which was disappointing. Nonetheless we...still ate and the food was delicious and staff very nice. Please remove the ‘vegan options’ off trip advisor as this gives us false hope!More
We had seafood paella and the cheese and meats platter - all of which were excellent! It’s also some of the best wine we’ve seen in the Philippines
We loved every single one of our orders!! We ordered croquettas, pulpo, paella, sangria, basque burnt cheesecake, gachas de la abuela and hot mocha. It was an excellent dining experience! The wait staff provided EXCELLENT customer service as well.
Went to Bougainvillea for a change from resort food. Vegetable paella was great but the Pulpo was the star. Pulpo was cooked perfectly, soft and flavorful. Croquetas were ok and had 3 varieties. Best was the ham croquetas. The gambas and patatas bravas were not...good. Gambas had a very thin sauce which was strange; and patatas were undercooked. The service was brisk and servers very attentive. Overall, a great find in Panglao island, Bohol.More
Gambas was great! The Lengua was tender and on top of potatoes. Service was excellent ! There were mosquitoes but happens anywhere outdoors
We had a wonderful meal at bougainvillea. The food was excellent, the paella was delicious we enjoyed the all the tapas. The kids loved the churros and the chocolate was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
Excellent Spanish food. Enjoyed a variety of Tapas and Paellas. Snappy, friendly service. A must dine when in Panglao.
They have a great location within alona area. We tried the paella negra and pulpo a la gallega. Great flavor! Super good! Paella serving is big for the value for money. This is a must try restaurant in Alona!
Good restaurant serving Spanish food respecting the tradition. I had nice tapas followed by Paella. The paella was tasty. Only negative note is the Sangria, I personally didn’t like it much, the wine they used was not good.
Amazing food, would recommend the paella. There are also options for vegetarians. The service was great and very attentive. And the churros were delicious!
very friendly and courteous staff, excellent food, good portions and reasonable prices. We recommend this restaurant!
We shared 4 tapas dishes which were all delicious and then shared a paella (2 serves) between 4 of us which was excellent and enough food. Can’t fault the food and the service was excellent. We sat inside which was air conditioned, but the seats...were very uncomfortable. Outside had better seating but when we arrived there was a very loud Zumba session going on out there which is why we chose inside. But I think if you came after 6:30pm that would be over. The owners/cooks are from Spain. Also we suggest they could improve the atmosphere by having more Spanish inspired music instead of club beats.More
