Busy, vibrant atmosphere. Tasty food fusion food (Asian / Korean). Friendly and helpful staff. We ordered and we’re told the food would take 35-40 mins but it actually arrived much faster. The portions were generous but I then it’s not inexpensive either. Would recommend but...as there are so many other restaurants around I would probably eat out in a different one next time.More
Had dinner with my cousins at this place in Danao, Panglao near Alona. Heard a lot of nice things about it. Finally got my chance to try it. My first time ever dining here. The Beef was delicious, tender, and juicy. The French Fries were...tasty, crispy, and golden on the outside. Well seasoned. The Shrimp was delicious. Perfectly cooked. Tender. The Chicken Wings were very tasty. Sweet on the outside. Tender, juicy, plump, and succulent on the inside. Perfectly seasoned. The Ribs were very delicious. Tender, juicy, succulent, plump, and cooked perfectly. Perfectly seasoned too. The Seafood rice was superb! It was tasty, well seasoned, and had a nice mild spicy kick to it. Just enough heat to tantilize your taste buds. The shimp and squid pieces and the vegetables gave the dish multiple levels of flavors and textures. The Salad was fresh, crisp, and delicious. Very chill ambiance. The staff was great. They were courteous, attentive, and accommodating. The service was great too. Family friendly. Kid friendly. Perfect for a nice romantic dinner for two or for group dinners with family and friends. Prices are reasonable. Nice cozy place to eat. Highly recommend this place to my friends and followers. 5 Stars out of 5 Stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s!!! 😋🍽🍗🍖🍟🥗🍚🦐🦑👍🤟More
I ate a fabulous lunch of spicy pasta with prawns in a creamy sauce 2/29. Four hours later I spent the rest of the day suffering from food poisoning! Terrible diarrhea, barfing my brains out and chills...you know...FOOD POISONING! Food safety handling was probably the...result. Beware!More
The restaurants in Panglao aren’t very nice because its has way much tourist and in majority Chinese They look like they are from another decade Barwoo is a hidden Gem Me and my girlfriend went there to check it but it was 19:00 and the...waiting list was already close !!! Thats right , please pay attention THERE IS A WAITING LIST because they dont have many tables and they dont accept reservations The kitchen closes at 20:00 but the waiting list stops around 19:00-19:15 So went again the next day earlier this time As every restaurant in Filippines that we enjoyed food we ended up going there twice The first time we had seafood pasta and chicken curry The second time we went to try the pork chops but they had run out and we ordered korean style pork barbeque and honey glassed shrimps with rice Food was really nice ( not amazing ) And prices were reasonable I think is the best place in panglaoMore
I didn't even bother to take a pic. I ordered sea urchin bibimbop and a rose cream pasta. It was alright, but nothing superb. It's not exactly the cheapest option either. I don't understand the hype.
The food is outstanding. But unless you want to wait for hours to eat, get there are 4.45pm or earlier and put your name and the number of diners on the list that is hanging on the door. And it is closed on Wednesdays. The...restaurant is a really nice open air hut that seats roughly 20-25 diners. We went there the first night at 6pm and were told we’d be waiting at least an hour. They said the best time to get there is 5pm. We went there the night after (Wednesday) at 5pm and it was closed. We went there at 4.45pm the next night, put our name down, and just scraped into the first sitting. Might even be worth getting there at 4.30. We were seated at 5pm but firstly ordered drinks, being happy to wait while other tables were served. The table next to us were served, ate and left before we got our meals. We weren’t in a hurry so that was fine. Great atmosphere, very good service. The food was off the charts. We had the ribs and also the Korean paw chicken. We’re were glad we tried both of these dishes, both outstanding. In terms of pricing compared to other local restaurants, it is not particularly cheap, 700 pesos for the ribs and 600 pesos for the chicken, but still great value for what it was. We left in a good coma. The beers were cold and the local gin and tonics inexpensive and really good. There were 20 people waiting outside when we left at 7.30pm. They apparently stop serving new diners at 8.45pm. There were never fewer than 10 people waiting at any stage during the meal, so unless you go early you will be waiting a long time. The restaurant is moving soon so maybe it will be a bigger place with more tables? I hope the new place doesn’t lose the cozy and relaxed ambiance and food quality standard that it currently has. Overall it was a brilliant dining experience. bravo.More
This place does not deserve all the credits it gets. When one waits for over an hour, one expects some pretty flippin amazing food. I had the Korean platter (as everybody else did), which was a loosely thrown together assortment of meat, shrimp, fries and...a bit of kimchi. Besides the kimchi, nothing about it tasted Korean. Any other restaurant in Panglao would've charged less than half for this. On a positive note: the personnel was super friendly and happy!More
Following recommendations from Trip Advisor, we decided to try this restaurant. After waiting for an hour and a half, (I know that this is a ridiculous amount of time but i kept telling myself it would be worth it),we were finally seated and we ordered...the Korean platter. The food was ok but i felt it was no better than something that i could ve whipped up at home. They even did that thing where they combine shop-bought wedges with the fries because they re running out so they just threw in what ever they could find at the bottom of the freezer. It was edible but i dont understand why everyone is queuing up to eat there. In short: food was ok, service was good but the restaurant was massively over hyped.More
Arrived to a busy packed restaurant and was advised 30-40min wait, was mostly accurate, it took about 45mins to get seated. Would’ve been nice to be told we could order drinks while we waited, I only found out by asking at the bar myself after...5-10mins. San Miguel reasonably priced for restaurants in the Panglao area (P70). We shared between 2 the Fried Dumpling starter, Korean Platter and a Pineapple fried rice. Plenty of food between 2 and everything was very tasty. Not entirely convinced it’s worth the lengthy wait for a table, there’s plenty of other nice places to eat nearby.More
Our favourite restaurant in Panglao! We ordered the BBQ platter for two, as well as a Japanese pork rice dish on the side. Both incredibly delicious! To start we also had the dumplings which was again tasty and perfect to share between two. Highly recommended!...Like other reviews have said, we had to wait for 30 minutes for our table, but was definitely worth the wait for incredible food! The food also comes out quickly after you have ordered which is perfect! Do note it is also closed on Wednesdays when we went in Nov 2019.More
We heard about this place on TripAdvisor and saw how many amazing reviews it got so wanted to try it out. I had also seen that it does get busy so to arrive early. We arrived approx 1830 which I thought was pretty early for...dinner. We had a forty minute wait at that point. There is a bench to the side of the restaurant where you can sit and wait. No one comes out to offer you a drink while your waiting so I went in to get one and was basically ushered out quickly which I thought was a little strange. I had read how good the ribs were and therefore had intended to order them. We got seated and handed menus without a word and then when we went to order we were told they were sold out of the ribs. I just thought they should have mentioned it while giving us the menus out of courtesy. However, when we did order our food it was delicious. We both had chicken dishes with the chilli cheese fries and it was all so tasty!! Would highly recommend them!More
Went to the souvenir shop nearby, and found the restaurant crowded. So we decided to try it on the next day. Seems like quite popular in this area. Lots of korean customers. Friendly waiters and waitress. Worth a try!
When you walk in, you will get a feeling of being in a great place. Delicious and tender ribs with the meat falling off the bone. Really friendly staff and service is fast. We've tried their bbq ribs, korean pork, chicken, pasta, noodles and they...were all great. My favorite restaurant in Bohol.More
We were craving for Korean food and this popped up in our searches, but apparently the menu is so varied, we ended up ordering the ribs and it was quite good It was a warm night when we went, so we kind of hoped there...would be air-conditioning but this is in a native type hut Typically, Panglao Alona has higher prices since these are touristy areas so this was one of those but the portion sizes were huge so it wasn't too badMore
