The place is fantastic. Super duper. You cannot imagine that there's a place like this just few hours from the metro. Service is wonderful as well. Very attentive. But with the food. I have to say it needs to improve A LOT. We ordered fish...and chips and rigatoni with sausage. The latter has a star in the menu so I thought this will be good. But no. I did not finish it. And have it take away instead. A bit pricey also. Well if the the food tastes well then price is not an issue but then again if it's like that then that's another story. Overall if i need to post something in my IG then I will try it again but definitely will not go back for the food.More

Advance booking is required. The place is so relaxing, tucked in the middle of a bee farm. With picturesque old trees and stone footsteps going down the underground cafe... this makes the experience unique. Wide tall windows with foresty trees view keep the area cool...and even chilly probably because there were showers that day. The ambience and vibe is so reminiscent of old european cafe. On the downside, food is not that spectacular. Presentation and plating is fantastic but taste is ahhh, quite a fail. Price is on the high side. But for the experience and vibe, it was really great!More

Didn't know that something as nice as this place is just a few minutes away from home. We're very satisfied with the service and our orders. We will definitely go back.

Quite tiring going down to the dining area, and as well as going back up. Food was okay, nothing special, a bit bland i must say but well presented. Lacking in flavors. Staff aren't so attentive nor friendly. A one time visit out of curiosity....Good side, place was really clean!More

Pluses: *Rustic and tranquil vibe of the cafe’s interiors *Lush greenery surrounding the property *Aromatic coffee Minuses: *Service Staff who had zero “product knowledge” as she had to excuse herself to find the answer to the questions we had about the menu items. Completely clueless....*Service Staff who had zero “situational awareness” and did not bother to check our table for left behind items. This kind of “attention to details” is crucial specially if access to the venue is not easy because of the many steep steps you need to take. My nephew realized he left his face shield on our table when we got to the car and had to go all the way down then up again just to retrieve the item. It should be customary practice for the staff to promptly check the table for phones, keys, face masks, and the like, which could have been forgotten by the diners so they can be immediately handed over. As for the food, it was a combination of plus and minus.More

Just for the experience. I’ve read this restaurant several times on blogs as one of the must-try restaurants in Antipolo, so we have it a go. Went there as a walk-in and we have to wait for almost an hour to be seated. Luckily, we...were given the chance to dine in as you need to reserve a table at least 1 day ahead of your visit. The place itself is something different, where you need to go down the steep stairs for over 90 steps. When you finally enter, you will see the outdoor green scenery of the restaurant. It was a lovely and unique location. But after tasting the food on the menu, all of a sudden the joy that the greenery outside brings takes it all away. All the food we tried is just so so, nothing’s special at all. If they can improve the taste of the food, this place would be perfect.More

After a month, we finally had a successful reservations here. Perfect hideaway for couples but not for family with infants or seniors as the 95steps going down might be stressful for them. Adventurous couple like us even had a heart pumping exercise when going up..., how much more if I brought my 72year old Mom here👵🏼 Seating is very limited not because it’s pandemic 😷 but It’s not as spacious as you think it is with only 4couples table and 3 long table for families. Maybe I am used to the seats here in the city with acrylic barrier if not seats are marked with ❎- these are not practiced there. Food: plating is professionally done by a 👩‍🍳 (you know it even if you are not a hotelier) Food is comparable to WildFlour but can’t compete with Bag of Beans🤔but as a hotelier I did not expect that kind of price considering of a very homey feeling once you are inside. The most fun part is being close to nature, you get to go down some more to view the creek and 📷 click all you can as the oldies are too scared to explore this part. This you will find yourself alone in the 🪨 rocks of course with your photographer otherwise known as your boyfriend.😍More

We waited several weeks to get a table for 4, for Sunday lunch. Service was warm and efficient. We were impressed with the watermelon salad, uniquely paired with warm kesong puti. But everything else went downhill from there. We really tried to like the flatbread...plate, black pancit, gising gising bowl,Eggs Benedict, the pastas, mango shake and iced tea. But they were just ordinary. Our spirits picked up with the desserts of carrot cake, fried suman, and slow-drip coffee. But good beginnings and endings are not to enough to make us want to go back to Burrow's, if the pricey main courses don't live up to the hype.More
