This restaurant has become my favorite neighborhood spot. On a quiet street in Meguro with room for 18, you are basically sitting in the kitchen with chef Katy Cole, who’s star is undoubtedly ascending. It’s a very small room, and an equally cozy menu. I...haven’t been yet without literally sampling every item. Super fresh, sourced from local farms, and creative flavors using Japanese influences like the Shibazaki pickled pepper in yoghurt under a salad of lentils, avacado, and phakchi. Always a fish and meat option. And amazing choices if you are eating a low meat diet. It’s like sitting in a good friend’s kitchen as she makes you dinner. Go.More
