This place is incredible. The views are awesome in any weather. The food is above your average pub style. We attended a wine night featuring Howard Park Wines and a 5 course degustation. Service was prompt and with a smile. The setting was beautiful with candles. The food, it was sensational and each course was elegant and tasty. The wine serving was generous…. Across the 6 wines served would have been 600mls each….. one wine alone was a $136/bottle. Thanks to Mark, Shane, Jake…… all the crew, especially the chef Rachael……..
If you go during winter, try the Lamb Shank curry….. it’s the best. I have taken some disabled mates there for meals and the staff made it special for them….. thanks crew!

The Rowing Pavilion is a great place with fantastic river views. We go there very often in the day or night. You can take along your dog. We often see Pelicans and Dolphins. The food is always good and the pizzas are perfect. The new winter menu has some lovely new dishes and a perfect Lamb Shank Curry. The staff are always helpful, smiling and service is quick as you can order via an app. I have rarely had to queue for a drink. Highly recommend this wonderful spot. The manager Mark is always busy and attentive

This is a great location. However, parking can be a bit of an issue, so be aware you may need to walk a bit if you are driving there.
We sat inside and there isn’t a heap of ambience, the view out the front to the river is obviously the main attraction. If it isn’t too windy, sit outside if you can.
Food wise, hmm. It’s a bit ordinary, really. Just fancyish pub food and very similar to offerings at other places around Perth, eg Blasta Brewing. We had the heirloom tomatoes and they were good, could have done with more salt and less balsamic glaze. Some on our table had fish and chips, fairly standard, others the chargrilled Thai chicken thighs, which were more like crumbed and fried, and seriously under seasoned so quite bland.
I think people go there to be seen, rather than for the food.

Although it probably won't concern most of you, my mates chose to eat outside on the deck, which is nice for the views, but terrible for those of us who wear hearing aids when it's windy.
We sampled a lot of dishes, and although they were tasty, nothing was really special, except for the oysters. Hard to ruin those, if they're well sourced.
I had the lamb cutlets, and they were overcooked; so much so that I couldn't cut two of the four with a knife. Awful. I've never had that experience in my life.
Great beers on tap; nice wine list, but again, nothing exceptional.

Situated on the Canning River, therefore the venue is very windy. Inside seating is available however, the noise inside cancels any chance of conversatioin with your lunch/dinner companians. Food menu is limited but there are 3 pages of drinks menu. I made a booking several weeks prior to going to the restaurant and requested extra time as the sittings are for 2 hours only. This extra time was not allocated to my party and much reorgaanising had to be done to allow us to stay a little longer. First visit and certainly my last.

The service is exceptional. The location is fabulous, river and city views.
Dining inside or on the balcony, the ambiance is nice. Loads of beverage options, supporting local wineries. Nice menu, we had the WA Prawn Pizza which was absolutely divine, served with a generous amount of juicy prawns and a lovely sauce.
Can’t wait to return to try the other menu items.

The Rowing Club is situated right on the banks of the river with very nice views from inside and even better views from the outside balcony area. The restaurant is on the top floor of a two story building which helps with views. There's a lift for people who are unable to use the stairs.
Staff are friendly and helpful and will direct you to a table. Make sure it doesn't have a later reservation.
Menus are on the table and you need to go to the bar to order making sure you remember your table number. Service is quick.
It's not a cheap place. We had tacos - 3 confit duck and 3 Szechuan beef - plus a glass of white wine and a glass of bubbles. It came in at almost $80.
That said, the tacos were lovely. Highly recommended.
A nice place for lunch especially on a warm, breezy day.

Firstly parking was a problem. One of our guests had to park about 400 m from the restaurant. Menu only had very few main courses and had to make your orders for drinks and meals at the bar. The staff was very helpful. We were seated outside on the patio was great to view over the river strangely, it was a bit noisy outside, whereas inside was much less noisy. I would probably like to give it a 3 1/2

Had dinner here and was very happy with the service, view and food.
Easy to order through QR code at the table and enjoy the night view of the river.
Would rate the food pub style but acceptable.
It was windy but luckily not too cold.
Great place to meet friends and have a few drinks and snack foods.
