The food, the presentation and service was top notch. It was an amazing meal. But what made the meal better was our server Gustavo. He was so friendly, attentive and made us feel at home. So hospitable!!!!! He took the time to answer our questions...and was so informative about the resort and surrounding area. He truly cares about your experience at this restaurant.More

We scored big time with our waiter Gus, he advised us on the whole snapper and it was incredible. Best food I’ve had in Puerto Rico hands down! Coming back tomorrow.

We had an amazing authentic meal at this restaurant. Everything from the appetizers to the main dish was phenomenal. It’s sad to know that the Hyatt Grand Reserve hotel does not promote them more because this restaurant is a family owned business and is the...best restaurant and hotel promises! They also have restaurants in Fijardo. This is a must! The staff is super professional and nice too. A WOW!More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Passion. Gus had amazing customer service skills. He presented the menu and wine extremely professional while making our dinner memorable and personal. We tried the traditional Puerto Rican food Mofongo with skirt steak with a...chimichuri sauce and rice and beans. We didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the best meals we have had in forever, the flavors were so pungent and savory. Gus took our picture, and spent a lot of time helping figure out the best places on Island to visit during our stay, he even wrote it all down for us on paper! Thank you so much for this fabulous evening, the hospitality standard is very high here!More

I have no problem paying for quality food. I love local food. My wife and I ordered red Snapper and Mofongo red snapper. I couldn't finish it due to the overly fishy taste, Bland and boring. They were quite proud of it as our meal...ended up around $90 with 2 drinks. Don't waste your time. Go out to PR3 and there are MANY wonderful restaurants with reasonable prices and AMAZING FLAVOR! Don't eat at the resort.More

My fiancée and I are big seafood lovers. We have had seafood at many places in the world and this place sits right amongst the top 5 restaurants we have had seafood. We had been underwhelmed so far on our whole vacation in Puerto Rico...from quality of food/hospitality/attitude of locals until we visited this place. Genuinely nice and welcoming staff unlike anywhere else we visited in Puerto Rico. Clean and very roomy place. Lots of options on the menu. The portion sizes of food were very large. So go there with good appetite and be ready to pack some for leftovers. Food tasted authentic and not “Americanized” at all. For appetizer we ordered sweet plantains with pork belly. Plantains were perfectly crispy on the surface and soft on the inside. For entree I ordered Catch of the day (snapper) stuffed with octopus (option to stuff with octopus/shrimp/lobster or all of them) in scampi sauce (or in garlic/ garlic butter/ cream) and comes with a side of Spanish rice (plenty of other sides could be chosen too). My entree could have been good for 2 people. Came with 2 large perfectly cooked filets of snapper with perfectly tender full tentacle of octopus. I was not expecting that much food. And it wasn’t just the quantity but also the quality of food we were impressed with. I have many overcooked and chewy octopi at high end restaurants in the past. This place had it cooked perfectly. Mg fiancée ordered seafood paella. We were surprised by the amount of seafood in that paella. More than the rice itself. She could hardly eat 1/3 of it. They had very good looking drinks menu. Lots of options on cocktails and wine. We had been drinking all day so didn’t get any drinks but options looked great. This place was only open on the last day of our vacation otherwise we would have visited it again. Will definitely visit them again if are back to Puerto Rico in future. The manager made us aware that they also have 2 more locations outside of the Hyatt grand Reserve resort we were staying at. The name of those are Passion and Restaurante El Yate. I would give them 5/5.More

I had ordered the red snapper in a scampi sauce. Although the fish was fresh, it was completely bland. My husband chose red snapper mofongo, which was also bland. Quite disappointing as we were looking forward to having some tasty Puerto Rican food. We look...outside the hotel for some authentic fare.More

Went to Pasion for dinner twice while staying at the Hyatt Regency resort and it was the best 2 meals we had there. I got the snapper in garlic cream sauce stuffed with shrimp, octopus, and conch but the standout was when I got the...strawberry glazed lamb chops. Those were heaven!! The fried cheese appetizer with guava sauce was tasty as well. Definitely a firmer cheese, not like mozzarella sticks at all but still good. My friend said the mofongo was very good there as well. I couldn't figure out why this place wasn't as busy as the Asian restaurant or the steakhouse on prem, because the food was on point.More
