A deep and abiding interest in Indochina. I am a former independant tour developer and tour leader in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Vietnam, northern Thailand and southern China - Yunnan Province, including the Yangtze and Tiger Leaping Gorge for many years now. My river tours were the Greater Mekong Subregion and the Red River - Kunming to Hanoi. Previously UN/UNICEF and UNTAC and a past fixer for the BBC Natural History Unit in Cambodia/Angkor. I am actively involved in support to KH prevention of blindness programmes and related NGO's. Same for traditional Khmer potters in Siem Reap and Kg. Chhnang.
