This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
We were so impressed with the ease of going to the top of the Rockefiller Center. It wasn't crowded and you could take pictures without the glare from the glass. We have recommended this as a top spot to go when in NYC to our friends.
Of course you have to visit this iconic destination on you 1st visit to NY. The view is breath taking! But I suggest just the ticket to the observation deck on the 86th floor. We took the ride to 102 and it was cramped and the wait for the elevator to it was lengthy.
Never seize to amaze me with an amazing food and service.
Very tentative crew and great food.
I had a dinner with a friend who is vegetarian, it was amazing how much they focused on creating something amazing even with vegetables. Many restaurants are still are learning and trying to figure out a way to come up with an amazing...
"Delicious pricey Indian food on the West Side Manhattan"

It was a convenient rendezvous for a reunion with friends working in Manhattan during a recent visit. We went for the two course menu on offer - dishes were very delicious and presentation very interesting but portion sizes small. Recommend the bengal rice khichdi, crispy lentils, smoked papad if you are a vegetarian. Desserts to were delectable especially makhan malai,...
"Dishes that looks so simple are the hardest ones"

Dishes here look so easy on the eye . Like nothing has been done to the produce . But it was pure craftmanship being able to do that . Once you taste it , you know that many hours went into your plate.
We'd been travelling for a bit and I had to track down where I could get a good coffee. Coming from Melbourne we are used to decent coffee...made correctly! I was over bad NYC coffee!
Little Collins was a gift from God! Good coffee....and Vegemite on toast (which was perfect as my jar had run out and I was craving!)...
New hotel, with elegantly furnished and large (manhattan standard) rooms, very attentive staff. Some work going on during my stay but I wasn’t bothered at all. Restaurant also was under construction, so they offered some vouchers for a cafe a few steps away. If you want to stay in midtown, it’s a perfect spot: shopping (macy’s is nearby, B&H...), movies...
Best place you can find in NY! Thank u Jacqui for the hospitality and I salute your staff. All so kind, informative, willing to help. Thanks for spoiling us for our anniversary. It felt like home. The great room, breakfasts, afternoon treats of wine and cheese selection ... we r back next year , and we can't wait to stay...
Great hotel in every respect. Very welcoming staff, comfortable, great amenities and the location couldn't be better. The lounge area where breakfast, anytime coffee, tea, snacks and afternoon wine and cheese are served is a great area to relax.
The Library Hotel is truly a "home away from home." Staff is unfailingly helpful and friendly. Rooms always comfortable, quiet, very clean, well appointed. Breakfast and wine/cheese offerings are delicious and ample. I've stayed there for over 10 years, with never a bad experience!
Like many others, We loved this hotel. My friends and I came to the city for a Christmas trip. The staff members were very nice, greeted you with a smile and went out of their way to make your stay amazing. The location of the hotel was perfect! Saturday we walked 5th Ave, saw the tree and went to times...
