The views from this resort and the pictures on their website are beautiful but there is more than meets the eye to this place. I had a lot of issues/problems that I think people should be aware of before they get swept away by the amazing photos like I did and stay at this

Dear caesar52, We refer to your comments about our resort which we take them for our serious consideration and investion. Firstly, we would like to thank you for your kind word saying that we are the best place to stay on Koh Phangan. We would like to confirm with you that all the pictures in our websites are real pictures taken from the resort. Start with your comments about our speedboat transfers, you are right, we provide schedule speedboat from Koh Samui to the resort twice a day, and these information are metioned in our website. Please note that we have made serveral researches and questionaires about the demanding with our value guests as well as the airlines schedule, and we found that the most convenient and suitable times our guests to travel to the resort are 11.00am (for those who arrive Koh Samui by moring flights, and for those who stay overnights in Koh Samui) and 4.30pm for those who arrive Koh Samui by afternoon flights. As most of the guests are fully aware about the schedule of our speedboat, so they always book the most suitable flights to match with our speedboat schedule. Those we who stay overnight on Koh Samui can enjoy the breakfast, and there will be no rush before the trip to our resort. We wish to state that speedboat tranfer is not mandatory, and there are also other options for our guests to travel to our resort. They can take local ferry or catamarn to Thong Sala which is the main town, and from there we provide both private car and schedule car to our resort. We have these information available on our website. May we add that for our guests who have early flight to Koh Samui we offer and shall be glad to arrange a free drive to the famous Big Buddha Temple (which located not so fare from our pier) for sightseeing at no extra cost. The guests can also explore the local village next to our pier while waiting for departing. With regard to checking in procedure, we wish to advise that our check out time is at 12.00am and our check in time is at 2pm. However, we are very flexible with the timing. Most of our guests will always have the room ready for checking in between 12.30 to 13.00 hrs. In your case, I have checked with our team member and found that we had the room ready at about 12.30pm. Next day you brought up and queried with our GRO Team member that the room we assigned for you was not the same in the Expidia Website. Our Front Office Manager showed you the picture of Superior room in the website (which is very similar to the photo taken by yourself), and clarified with you that our Superior room is a room with tropical garden view. However, as we always try and do our best to please our guests, so we immediate upgraded you to one of our Deluxe Room with seaview at no extra cost. Although, we are extremely sorry to disappoint you in regard to breakfast. You mentioned to our team member that you had booked a double room which inclusive of breakfast for 2 persons. However, as you travelled alone, and you wanted us to compensate the breakfast for 2nd person to either lunch or dinner for you. Hence, we were sorry that we could not comply this request as it is not general pratice in travel business. As for the bugs, we must admit that there are some bugs as we are located in the tropical garden. You may notice that there not only bugs, but there are also a lot of wild birds in the resort. So those bugs are as supply chain of those poultries. Hence, we are surprise to hear that there was a spider at 5 to 6 inches in your room. Honestl say, the spider at that size is very hardly find in Thailand. In Thailand you can find some small spider which is not poison. There was no report about the spider found in your room in our Daily Log Book. Please note that we spray the mosquito in the resort twice a week. Again, please accept our thanks for your constructive comment about in-door dinning, however we found that most of our guests enjoy the fresh air and stunning view at our restaurants, and we hardly have any comment or complain about our open-air restaurant. FYI; we have private room next to our Chantara Restaurant where we can set up indoor dinning for special requirement or for incentive group. Thus, we have no plan to build in-door restaurant yet. For the last 2 comments; juice at breakfast – pleaes be informed that our breakfast is buffet style. Our guests can always refill the juice at the fruit juice station, or if they need help, they just call our waiters and waitress for assistant. We enusure you that our team members are more than happy to help you with your requirement. At the pool, we have 3 pool-boys standby at the pool to assist our guests with their requirement including ordering drinks. Moreover, we also have our By The Sea & Bar which is located adjacent to the pool. Our waiter will move around our pool area every 15 minutes (in a very quiet manner in order to minimizing and avoid disturbing to our guests who are relaxing on the beach-chairs), so if any of our guests need anything including drinks, snacks or beach towels, they can always order those things with our pool-boys and our waiter. And as we always train them, so we trust that our team members are always more than happy to serve drinks, snacks or any other necessary items to our guests.
