We were in Malapascua in November 2023 and dived with Devocean Divers. This dive center is very well organized. The staff, the ladies in the office and the whole crew were always friendly, always helpful and offered the best service. Everything was absolutely perfect. We had great dives and with Wen the best divemaster. Whether before or after the dives, he always took care of everything. We did 15 dives with him and Wen showed us everything in his calm way, from the big thresher shark to the smallest nudibranch. They were unforgettable dives. Devocean Divers was a very nice dive shop to dive with. All staff was always smileing and in a good mood. They had a lot of different dive sites to visit. And all of them had something to explore. The dive boats was in good condition and they always served coffe and something small to eat. A special thanks to our dive master Pol. He was an excellent guide with a hawkeye for macro. He took so good care of us. Very proffesional and excellent to dive with. We higly recomend Devocean and specilly Pol.

I came to Malapascua to do OWC and I liked it so much that I stayed longer to do Advance as well :) Highly recommend my instructor Ray! Also big help from Manuel who practiced with me everything on the surface and underwater as well :) They both made my training very effective and fun. You need to try coffee place next to the dive shop and massage after day of diving :)

Recently, I had an incredible diving experience with Devocean in Malapascua. After a four-year break from diving, I chose to refresh my skills with a PADI course, which went smoothly. Diving alongside the wonderful Noah across three days and eight dives spanning Kimud Shoal, Monad Shoal, and Gato Island was truly memorable. Noah's patience, reassurance, and attentiveness from the outset made each dive unforgettable. Throughout the three days, she expertly guided me through remarkable encounters, including thresher sharks and the depths of the Kimud Shoal wall. Despite a busy schedule, the Devocean team also ensured I could partake in dive trips, for which I am immensely grateful. Overall, my experience exceeded all expectations. I can't wait to dive with them again!

I have nothing but kind words for Devocean and all of their staff members. I arrived at Malapascua with zero knowledge or experience about diving and with them I did a number of dives and I feel confident now to go diving in other places. Rey was a fantastic instructor showing great kindness, patience and knowledge, while also being able to tell me whenever I did something dangerous (I'm a bit clumsy at times hahaha). In 3 days we did the full open water course with all the individual exercises and a few dives. We started practicing the skills in shallow water in the sea, which makes you get used to sea and the saltwater immediately. When I started I had a lot of trouble taking my mask off and putting it on again while maintaining my breath, but again patience and practice made me master this skill within 2 days, which is something I never expected after my first try. After finishing the Open Water Course, the day afterwards I went on a Thresher Shark dive, which Malapascua island is particularly famous for. We went with a nice boat and everything was taken care of so well. There was food, drinks, all your equipment would be prepared and put on by the really attentive staff and the divemasters were also really attentive. For example, I had to descend slower than other people, because my ears took time to equalize. At no point I felt pressured and I was even encouraged by my divemaster to take it slow and be safe at all times. I want to praise all the staff members who I've seen, met and spoken though in the past few days. Positive, friendly, hard-working and accurate people. I cannot recommend Devocean enough!

The best dive school in Malapascua!! We got the open water certification and a great dive with thresher sharks, a trip organised down to the smallest things! Our instructor, Rey, is a trained and experienced dive master! He taughts us the basics skills and made us feel safe and confident in all situations. I completed my PADI Open Water certification under Instructor Ricky. I'm the easily stressed and anxious sort, but fortunately, Ricky was incredibly patient with me, and let me repeat the various skills as needed until I was confident. I was really fortunate to have him as my instructor as I felt safe throughout. The initial confined water training was in shallow seawater, rather than in a swimming pool. I eventually completed Open Water in 2 half days and 1 full day with the open water dives (3 days). At the end of my 4 day trip, I eventually did some of the Adventure dives with my Advance-certified friends at 20m. The waters were incredibly clear and we managed to see a sleeping turtle, and sharks during the deeper divers.
