The Plaza Premium Lounge at the Addis ababa international airport offers a welcomed respite for transit travelers. As a paid lounge, it provides a comfortable space for refreshing oneself and unwinding. While the food selection is average, it still offers decent options. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible from the boarding gates, adding to its appeal.

I am frequent travle to Africa and happy to see that they have a lot of improvement in the last six months and further under construction on upgrading the existing facilities like washroom and showrooms. The staff is very polite and the food was amazing, staff briefly informed about the renovation and non availability of the washroom and guided to the nearest airport washroom. This is the only private lounge at Addis and can enjoy the services under the global cards program ike PP, DP, Amex, etc. Kudos to the team and see you soon..

We have a fantastic time on the way flying out of Ethiopia. I really like plaza premium lounge at Addis Baba Bole Airport. Our server was Fiker. He has great smile, knowledgeable and gave us great experience. We really appreciate the whole team. We will be back again when we flying through Addis Ababa Bole Airport.

That was amazing staff there they take your order the. Make the food fresh to you and they were so helpful if you would like to ask them about anything also . The place is clean all things . The food is delicious u can find many types of food 🥘. Miss Mestu Gso was very friendly and amazing to my little girl and I. She helped us check in and we happy to assist us settle in. The food was nice and the facilities are clean. Quiet environment. We will be checking in again next time we are in Addis Ababa .

I came to Addis Ababa’s airport on a layover and has a prolonged stay (because of additional security screenings, I missed my layover out of Addis). My ticket was booked for the same time, next day. I spent most of my unexpected day in the airport at the Plaza Premium Lounge. The staff were most courteous. One staff member in particular, Betty, I witnessed attend to all patrons and do her best to fulfill all requests (to include some outrageous one with the lighting and the setting of the air conditioning). Food taste great and during the breakfast and dinner dining hours, is constantly being replenished. During lunch hours, there’s a straight forward menu - no confusion If you’re flying through Addis Ababa, I would absolutely recommend stopping at the Plaza Premium Lounge. If you can, ask for Betty. She’ll take care of you.

I had some hesitation, given the prevalence of very bad reviews. But since I had free access (thanks to an arrangement with my credit card) I decided to give it a try. Effectively spaces a bit cramped; but if it is not very crowded, as in my case, it is quite comfortable. Food: remarkable variety, 4-star, low quality, 2-star (so 3-star average). Absolute flaw: the bathrooms are the public ones at the airport, with all that goes with it. Overall it would be 4-star if the cost, which fortunately I did not pay, had been 30 € maximum, a amount that I consider correct value for money.

We were so impressed by the outstanding service provided by Tizita Desalegn. She went out of her way to make sure our dietary requirements were catered for, ( which is rare at an airport lounge). Her kindness was much appreciated. The ethiopian food was delicious.

On our way from Chicago to Nairobi we had a stopover in Addis Ababa and enjoyed the Premium Plaza lounge. We had great food and enjoyed the drinks. My father accidentally left his jacket and GPS in the lounge and was very stressed about it. When I returned 10 days later the staff had it waiting for us!! We were so thrilled. Thank you Frehywet and Tigest for the excellent service and for going above and beyond to ensure we were reunited with our belongings.
