Hotels near The Bell Tower

The Bell Tower is one of the most unique things to see in Perth. The available tours give you a fascinating insight into the one of the most unique facilities in the world! Have a go at chiming a historic bell and learn about the ancient art of bell ringing. Your tour guide will also present to you a souvenir chiming certificate. The Bell Tower is also home to the ANZAC Bell. Watch and listen to 6,500kg Bell ring at 12pm, (1pm on ANZAC Day - 25 April). Twelve of the 18 bells in this Tower came from London's St. Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square as a Bicentenary gift to the people of Western Australia in 1988. Originally cast in the 13th century and recast in the 16th and 18th centuries, they were rung at the homecoming of James Cook after his voyage of discovery in 1771, after the Battle of El Alamein in 1942 and at the coronation of every British monarch since George II in 1727. Book the Bell Tower Experience Tour, the ANZAC Bell Tour or the Romance Package.

Highly recommend visiting the bell tower and especially join the bell ringing add on. This was such fun and our guide Howard was awesome. We did the joint Bell Tower and Perth Mint tour - both tours were great and was exceptionally good value for money
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review! Its great to hear you enjoyed your time with us and Perth Mint, we'll pass your kind words on to Howard.

We missed the Perth Explorer bus, so while waiting for the next one we decided to look at the Bell Tower. We discovered we were very lucky to be in time for the guided tour which included a chance to ring the bells ourselves and which happens only one day a month. Mike, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we were able to go inside the bell room and see all 18 bells along with the ANZAC bell. We then moved to the bell ringers room and as well as having a bell ringing demo from the actual bell ringers, were able to ring 2 of the bells ourselves. A brilliant and very unusual experience.
Thank you for your 5-star review! The bell ringing experience is such an amazing and unique thing to do while in Perth City - what luck that you were able to walk into it! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your tour with Mike. We'll pass your kind words on to him.

We had a fabulous tour at the Bell Tower today. We chose the 11:30am Thursday tour to see the bell ringers in action, which was great, but the unexpected highlight was seeing the massive Anzac Bell toll at noon - it was amazing! Sylvia was our guide and she was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed having the chance to ring the bells ourselves and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Anzac medal included in this tour. Thoroughly recommend!
So glad to hear you enjoyed yourself! We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to Sylvia.

Our visit to Bell Tower turned out better than I had imagined. We went for the package with the bell ringing and it was an eye-opener. The tour guide Jeff was very engaging and did a good job telling us everything he knew about bells. My 5-year-old was very engaged and loved exploring the exhibits.
Hi Faith, Thank you for taking the time to leave us suck a kind review. Jeff is a master at keeping people engaged, and I'm glad your 5-year old was just as interested!

Visiting the Perth Bell Tower was a truly fascinating experience! It’s not just a landmark but a great opportunity to dive into the history of the tower and the art of bell ringing. The views from the top are beautiful and make the visit even more worthwhile. A special mention to Howard, who was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I had a lovely conversation with him, and he even played the Italian anthem on the bells for me :-) Highly recommended for anyone visiting Perth!
Thank you for your detailed 5-star review! We are glad you enjoyed your experience and time at our beautiful tower. And thank you for your nice review of Howard - We will pass your kind words onto him.

The Bell Tower is striking in design and prominent next to the Swan River and houses twelve bells St Martins in The Fields and designed to commemorate Australia's Bicentenary in 1988. Two other bells came from London and three donated by a mining consortium. Enjoy the interesting architecture.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review! We do love the eye-catching architecture of our Perth Bell Tower.

A fun chance to make a din with Bells!!! A great opportunity to hear the history behind the bells coming from Britain to Perth. Howard was very knowledgeable and we found that we live close to where he had lived in UK before coming to Oz. The views in all directions from the top of the tower were brilliant.
Thank you for your 5-star review! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Howard, one of our superstar tour guides. We'll pass your kind words on to him.

The experience to see and exploring the bell tower is one of a must do activity in Perth. Went to the place with family few days ago, the explanation after check-in to the reception desk was amazing. Thank you for your help and time for the team in The Bell Tower.
