We visited the Titanic museum in Belfast in Feb 25. We prebooked our visit for 10.00 on a Saturday morning so slightly before the crowds although it did get busier as time went on. We paid £5 extra for audio guides which I would recommend as good value. The tour gave a really insightful history of the Titanic build, launch and subsequent sinking as well as the discovery of the remains in the 1980s. Additionally, the start of the tour gives a great insight into the industrial development of Belfast, setting the context for ship building. We spent just over 3 hours in the museum and enjoyed the interactive displays. I would highly recommend the Titanic Museum if visiting Belfast.
Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so happy to hear that you had a great experience visiting the Titanic Museum. It’s great that you were able to beat the crowds and make the most of your time with the audio guides – they really do add great value and depth to the exhibits. We’re glad you found the history of the Titanic’s construction, launch, and sinking insightful, as well as the context of Belfast's industrial development. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the interactive displays, which help bring the story to life. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back for another visit in the future!

I really enjoyed my visit to Titanic Belfast! The exhibition was fascinating and allowed me to explore at my own pace, depending on how much detail I wanted to dive into. Some sections went into such depth, like the origins of the steel and even the linen for napkins, that it became a bit too detailed for my taste, though others may find it interesting. What I really enjoyed was learning more about the crew and the people behind the Titanic, along with getting a glimpse of what the ship looked like in its prime. The 3D 360-degree animation was a standout, and I loved seeing the reconstructions of the cabins and artefacts like instruments that were recovered from the wreck. There’s also a "ride" that’s part of the experience, but honestly, I found it didn’t offer much. It was about a 20-minute wait, and I’d say you could easily skip it without missing much. One bonus is that your ticket also grants access to the SS Nomadic, just across the road – the last White Star Line ship. It doesn’t take long to explore, and I really enjoyed checking it out. It’s a great addition to the experience and offers another piece of Titanic history to admire. Overall, Titanic Belfast is a great way to learn about one of history's most iconic ships and the people involved, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast!
Dear Kayla, Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Titanic Belfast and found the exhibition fascinating. It’s great to know that you appreciated the depth of the exhibits and the insights into the crew and people behind the Titanic. We’re also glad you enjoyed the 3D 360-degree animation and the reconstructed cabins – they’re always a highlight for many visitors. We appreciate your feedback about the "ride" and understand that not every part of the experience appeals to everyone. We’re happy to hear that you made the most of your visit, including exploring the SS Nomadic! Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we’re so glad you found your time here worthwhile. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another exploration of Titanic history!

The Titanic museum is quite amazing. It is a huge building shaped like the ice purge that struck it, that offers you a cafe, store and a ride. Yes a ride. The museum depicts Ireland as a very hard working society whose main export was textiles. From there it went to H & W who still exists today not so much as ship building, more ship repair. Without giving up too much information, the museum offer you audio tours as well as self guided. It wasn't cheap to get in. I think it was around 22 pounds for each adult. For a Canadian it came out to $80 CAD per couple after conversion. You take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours on a self guided tour. It is honestly very humbling to recognize the painstaking work that went into building the Titanic and the number of men and women it took to make it, was astonishing. If you go later in the day, you miss all the crowds and you can take your time. It can get quite crowed during the day. Take breaks, they have lots of areas to sit if you get tired. They have elevators and an escalator too. Enjoy.

Great value for money: it takes you on a historic and emotional journey from the time the ship was built in Belfast to the present day of finding parts of the ship and the safety measure put in place for current cruise ships. A previous review implied the museum did not tell you about the people on the ship or the interior of the ship - it most certainly does as you go from one time period to another. We had a leisurely self guided tour and it took 2 hours. Best museum I’ve been to and I love museums!

What a memorable and engaging retelling of the Titanic story. I found each section deeply interesting, particularly the stories of both survivors and the victims. The events of 1912 have always interested me but this added another layer to my fascination with the story. We spent a good 2 and a half hours here and also visited SS Nomadic afterwards which was included in the price. Overall, a fantastic day. My one complaint is the fact luggage storage wasn't free. We had paid £75 between three of us for our tickets, so to have to pay an extra fiver for the storage felt a bit tight. At the Game of Thrones studio tour, we got to leave our bags for free. Too right!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such an engaging and memorable experience at Titanic Belfast, and we’re delighted that you enjoyed the retelling of the Titanic story. It’s wonderful to know that our exhibition added another layer to your fascination with this historical event. We appreciate your feedback regarding the luggage storage fee. We understand how it may feel surprising, especially after the ticket cost, and we always aim to provide great value to our visitors. Thank you again for your review, and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable experience soon!

This experience was truly amazing, not only does it tell the story of the Titanic but the people of Belfast. We also did the discovery tour and highly recommend it. Our tour guide Pip was perfect being a local guide and sharing his passion for not only for the Titanic but for the people of Belfast. Pips stories were emotional and heartbreaking telling of the people on board and those who built the ships. He was perfect and I'd love to do a tour again if he was the guide, I can't recommend him enough

Step into a world beyond the screen, where the story of the Titanic comes alive. After a captivating two-hour tour of the museum, you'll find yourself completely immersed, leaving behind any fleeting memories of the movie. The exhibits are stunning, the staff is incredibly courteous, and the storytelling is unparalleled, making history feel personal and profound. Discover the real Titanic: a tale of ambition, tragedy, and human spirit. This is a must-visit experience that you won't want to miss!

Modern and interesting museum with friendly staff. Price of the ticket is quite high. This was my second time visiting the museum. The first time I was there, there were hardly any other visitors. This time, however it was extremely crowded in the museum, so that you couldn’t see nor read everything that was on display. My advice would be to let less people in at the museum at the same time. Still, it’s one of the most interesting museums I’ve ever visited.

What a lovely surprise Belfast is. Such a warm welcome from everyone, so friendly and the locals we met were very funny, it was a pleasure to meet them. The City appears so tidy, well maintained. Still developing but what they have done so far is tasteful and fits in with other buildings . Tons of places to eat, though we thought the prices where probably a tad more expensive than other Cities, great pubs too. Also did a Bus tour of the City very interesting, Belfast's past History needs to be remembered, also the Titanic museum is a must probably the best in the UK . Would I go back? yes.
