    Exceptionally well done and impressive!
Rising from the center of the center of North America, Winnipeg's Museum for Human Rights is very impressive! Great parking right across the street, and free admission on Sundays! With 7 levels and a tower look out at the top, you'll want to pace yourself to get through it all. The only thing I really DIDN'T like was the 'inclusive' bathrooms: men and women communally. Think they should change that for the majority of the population.

    Well worth it!
Great architecture inside and out! The museum is very interesting and covers both the current and historical information with a high knowledge on human rights. It also provides first hand stories from those that have survived. You can spend hours here. I would definitely recommend! One part was confusing where I started to walk out the exit while looking for a bathroom not realizing and ran back in. Only to be greeted by an employee who thought I had snuck in!! I had been there for 2 hours already and it was quickly resolved

A must see when in Winnipeg
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is a must visit if in the Winnipeg area. There are exhibits here that you never thought you would see here, and they make you reflect on how you view human rights and the world after seeing them. Since the topic of human rights is so abstract and often involves many ideas of all kinds, you will find exhibits covering human rights all over the world. They also have some great interactive exhibits too for people of all ages. The price of admission is also not too steep when you consider how long you will spend here. Plan at least two to three hours to cover all the exhibits in full detail. Architectural fans will especially love being here, the building is an absolute masterpiece. And at the top of the museum, you will be greeted to amazing 360 degree views of the City of Winnipeg. Don't miss it, unless you have a fear of heights. Climbing up the stairs from the last exhibit to the top can be very dizzying! All in all, Winnipeg should be proud to have a place like this right in their own city! This museum is one of a kind, and honestly, this is a place I would expect to find in Ottawa.

    Have many hours to spend
We spent 3 hours and probably had another 2 to go. It is a VERY thought provoking place...somewhat dark...but you don't want to miss it. And the one thing you really don't want to miss is taking the elevator to the 8th floor....the view is amazing

    Very worth your time.
Way better than I was expecting. I had a few hours to kill before my flight so I took a 10 minute walk from my downtown hotel to the museum. $18 entrance fee. I don’t know if they offer tours but I did it solo. My first suggestion is to take the elevator to the top then walk down otherwise it is a continual walk up ramp after ramp. To see everything would take hours and hours but I saw a lot in a couple hours. Some great movies and exhibits to learn from.

Breathtaking Exhibits in An Amazing Structure
The fascinating structure that contains the Museum is in itself worth a visit with amazing views of Winnipeg and unusual architectural design. But then there are 5 floors of exhibits that will stimulate your mind and emotions. While you are being educated and enlightened on numerous human rights issues you marvel at the striking manners in which it is presented. Please be sure to make time to visit.

    A place one should visit
A worthwhile yet sobering visit about man's inhumanity to man. Interesting architecture....it is a good walk walking up and through the different levels...learnt alot...and unfortunately needs to be updated about the world's current events. The view from the top is quite something

    Very moving experience!
Beautiful building both inside and out. The many personal stories of having lived through some of the worst violations of human rights in history make the museum come alive. Definitely shouldn't be missed if you are in Winnipeg but also worth going to Winnipeg to visit.

Powerful Contents In A Beautiful Structure
The contents of this museum are in an architecturally beautiful structure. It will take some time, and a good number of steps to see it all. You will be rewarded with knowledge, and incredible views at the climactic end. There are ramps, and elevators. The exhibits are both powerful and thought- provoking. It is a major achievement- and should not be missed. At present, it is free on Sundays.
