Some experiences may be available on the day. Call in or check on our booking system. Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre has evolved to become one of the premier Bird of Prey Centres in the country. The location within the woodland provides the perfect setting for the centre and a natural backdrop for our daily flying shows. We have nearly 40 Birds of Prey & Owls. See "Orla", and "Scout" our two magnificent female Golden Eagles, meet Bones, our Vulture ambassador. See a selection of hawks and owls fly during our daily flying shows in the flying area. Our flying shows are educational and entertaining, the education cabin, together with the information boards throughout the centre, all provide an insight into these magnificent creatures.

SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Aquarium is just 30 minutes from Glasgow, situated on the stunning Loch Lomond Shores. Built in 1953 and one of the last paddle steamers in Britain, you can walk around the ship and enjoy the views over Loch Lomond. Our engines are now 'in steam' for the first time in 39 years, come onboard and watch the engines & paddles move (not enough for us to sail just yet)!. We are now taking wedding & event bookings as we have just spent £1.1million on renovations so if you are looking for something a little different to show your family & friends enquire now about prices. We are now open Wednesday's to Sunday's from 11am - 5pm until the end of October. Admission is £3 per person with kids under 12 getting on for free. Plenty of kids activities to keep them busy! Our first 'In Steam' event of 2020 will be on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August. Admission is £5 per person (kids under 12 free). All funds go back into keeping the ship running.

The Maid of the Loch is the paddle steamer that present is slipped on the new carriage way as she undergoes essential repairs. This year she will not open to the public unless attendees are joining our hard hat tours. We do however hope to welcome visitors to the slipway where they can view her repair progress. We also have open steam weekends until the end of the season and we have a new visitor museum and shop cabin. Check our website for current detail. She was launched in 1953 and sailed till 1981 and steadily rotted till volunteers of the Loch Lomond Steamship Company took over and became a registered charity HELP US IN OUR AIM TO GET THE MAID SAILING AGAIN. WE HAVE MANY "SUPPORTERS" WHO HELP TOWARDS THE MAID'S RESTORATION. THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS JUST £25 single or £40 for two people. See website for full details. WE HAVE RAISED - AND INVESTED - £2.6M IN THE MAID AND INFRASTRUCTURE SINCE 1996. NOW WE NEED ANOTHER £4M TO MAKE HER OPERATIONAL.
