"I really liked that there were multiple extra bathrooms with a toilet & shower to get some more private space. Kitchen & bathroom could be a bit cleaner, besides that it’s a very nice hostel!"

"Good hostel, I stayed in one of the 20 people rooms. The room had a slight odor but that is to be expected given how many people are in the room, but I claimed the bed closest to the window so that helped."

"It really exceeded my expectations. I might have wished for an onsite bar or cafe for socializing, but everything is so expensive in Iceland that I was glad of the lack of temptation!"

"Likewise the toilets and showers (all seperate individual stand alones, I think there were about six showers, and probably the same amount of toilets, were not like poorly designed dorm rooms, inside the dorm room."

"After a long day of traveling I arrived at Dalur Hotel and receive the most rude hello. The girl in the cafe won’t even look at me, I ask for the reception, it is closed:) no welcome no nothing. So disappointed."
